I went to this store to purchase a gown for my daughter's wedding. I was looking for a particular high-end brand that is not carried in many Houston-area stores. In addition to wanting a particular brand, I also am a plus-size mom and have had problems in the past trying to find a gown that I could try on. Most stores only have gowns in size 8 and 10; I was actually able to find several gowns in a size close to mine so I was at least able to get a pretty good idea of how the dress would look on me. The price for the gown was much less than the same gown at another store, but even if it wasn't, the sales associate explained that they match local competitor's prices so that I was guaranteed to get the best deal! The sales personnel were exremely helpful and professional. The store is very well organized and all of their gowns were exquisite. I attend formal functions on a regular basis and intend to purchase gowns for future events from Something Blue Bridal. Thank you, Something Blue Bridal!

Pros: Selection, professional and courteous service, made me feel like a queen!

Cons: Had to park at a neighboring business b/c the lot was full, but I didn't mind.

This bridal shop is so nice! I have never written a review before but I was just searching for shops to see what they have written about them and I don't agree with what someone wrote on here so I wanted to put my thoughts on this place on here also. I am a bridesmaid in a November 08 wedding and we came to Something Blue Bridal to get the brides dress and all of our bridesmaids dresses. This place is awesome! It was a little overwhelmiing when we first walked in because there are so many dresses to look at but the Sales associate was so nice when we walked in, she asked us what we had in mind for all of our dresses and she walked right over to the dresses and started pulling out dresses she thought we might like. The bride then narrowed the selections down and she put us in a dressing room to try them all on. Now, some of the comments are true... YES the store is in a small gated shopping center, YES the marque only has "Bridal Shop" on it, but if I remember correctly none of the other stores had their company names on them either.. that marque was tiny .. I don't think Something Blue Bridal would fit on it. How is that the stores fault?? Cigarette burns?? All the dresses looked good, There was a tiny whole in the back of the bridesmaids dresses, but the sales associate had explained to us before we even tried dresses on that the companies do that so the stores can't sell those dresses, they are samples they were even stamped with the companies name on them. Anyways, the store is very intimate and we all loved how we each received personal attention. And they were nice enough to come in outside of store hours when the brides dress came in so we could all have the store to ourselves when she tried it on, where else is a store going to lock their front door so you can have it all. I would seriously recommend this store to anyone!!

Pros: Personal service, great prices!

Cons: Parking lot is kind of tiny

This is definantely the place to go to find the bridal gown of your dreams. I was basically down on my luck trying to find the exact bridal gown from a specific designer. I couldnt find it anywhere, then a close friend told me about Something Blue Bridal. I went on a saturday morning and while it was busy I still recieved the personal attention i had expected. The sales associate was quick to acknowledge me and was very helpful with answers any questions that I had. She helped to size me and help carried my selections to the dressing room. While it is a small business, it is also family owned and gives you a more personal feel. Also the bridal gown you order is sent to them straight from the manufacturer so no other people try it on and it's brand new. No smudges of makeup or anyone's sweaty pit stains on your gown. Unlike chains like David's Bridal and Venturas where several people try on the gown you purchase. While the dresses in the shop that you try on may have belimishes on them its not the dress your buying. I would recommend going back here even if it's for a prom dress or bridesmaid dress.

Pros: Small intimate enviroment with extra personal attention, rare collection found here

I went to this place to see their Raylia collection, which I had a hard time finding elsewhere in Houston. The store is located in a tiny strip mall, and their street sign only says, "BRIDAL SHOP." They have a very small collection of dresses here, and some of the ones I tried on had cigarette burns and holes in them. The dressing room is very small and the mirror is made out of two door mirrors sitting side by side so your body is cut in the middle by mirror frames. You stand on a pedestal made out of wood and linoleum in a corner, so you can't turn in any direction. The worst part was the sales associate had her baby there while I was shopping. She put her in a playpen set up in the corner, but the baby started screaming and crying so the sales associate let her run around. Then the baby went into my dressing room and started going through my purse! Highly unprofessional.

Pros: Hard to find desingers

Cons: Bad location, bad mirror set up, babies in store
