This is a brilliant motion picture with a briliant cast. Leonardo DiCaprio deserves Oscar mention here. But BEWARE: this movie is absolutely not for the fainthearted. Moments reminiscent of the battle scenes in 'Saving Private Ryan' are strewn in full measure thruout the picture. And you most certainly will be given an eye opening education into what brutal destruction of the mind of childrens and a peoples amidst the illicit diamond industry in Africa really looks like. You most likely will not forget this one...ever.
Pros: An education in an industry in 'conflict diamonds' you likely never heard of.
Cons: You will squirm and gasp thruout the motion picture. You will shudder, and cry.

this movie was amazing. everyone in it is at their best. the scenery/cinematograpy is stunning. the action scenes will make you leap out of your seat.
