Great Place....BAD MANAGEMENT AND CORPORATE OFFICES

So a month back or so i went to see a midnite showing and the 3 people that were there was ryan delaycce and xavier.Delaycce was my server and boy he was great and he was funny just halarious..Now what im pissed off about is that i saw Delaycce recently and he told me he was terminated because he was at the scene of a window and some bb guns..i told him to just re-apply but he told me they dont allow it..AND THAT IS WHY I AM PISSED OFF THIS KID WAS TERMINATED FOR SOMETHING HE DIDNT DO AND NOW YOU ALL WONT LET HIM APPLY AT ANOTHER MOVIE TAVERN YOU GUYS ARE TERRIBLE..HE WAS ONE OF THE BEST IF NOT THE BEST SERVER THERE. YOU GUYS MADE A BIG MISTAKE I WOULD LIKE THE NUMBER TO YOUR CORPORATE OFFICES IMMEDATELY!! THIS IS AN OBSTROSITY!

Great place to eat and see a movie, relax have a Margarita before the show

We have been going to the Tavern on (Richey Rod and I-45 houston ) for about 3 years now, my husband and I enjoy the movies,the food and the drink, a good place to every one, try it during the week it is great is not crowded.

Ignore the bad opinions try it for yourself. Bring a friend, your spouse or your child, have a great time.

Movie Tavern stinks and shisty!!

the place has a musty foul smell, management has bad attitude and are in the wrong business!

food is okay! waiters do their best!

they are shisty with their wi-fi! when everybody else is sharing or attracting customers with FREE wi-fi!

they are saying their customers are not worth it, their must be a monthly charge for the router!

• Pros: a lot of movies
• Cons: bad service and nobody to report to!

The Movie Tavern (Richey Road at 45)

I will never go to the location On Richey Road again. My 13 year old daughter wanted to treat me to the movies and we went to see Hancock it was so hot we almost passed out, nobody ever came to get our orders and it had a horrible smell and when I complained to the manager he started telling me how hot it was in his office. I was very angry because he could have offered us something for having a miserable time at the theater in which he manages it is obvious he has no pride in his work and he doesn't deserve to be the manager. His name was Gary and I am very upset that I went there.

• Pros: good parking
• Cons: was so hot never cooled off

Request Certain Servers

I visited Movie Tavern by request of a friend. I was not happy with the management but what made me give Movie Tavern its high rating was the server name Marcel. He greeted me with such kindness and let me know about the foods he would eat. MArcel also greeted me with a joke which made me feel confortable right off the back. I will request him anytime I go back because he also made sure my food made it out the kitchen and my drinks came first. Other guest treated him with such disrespect and he still managed to keep a smile on his face. When I didn't like my drink he quickly made me a new one and as he walked off he mad sure other guest were happy. He is a 5 Star server at a 2 star astablishment.

• Cons: Horrible managers

Buy your tickets early tickets are cheaper then any other movie place around!

First of all i want to say prices are great! I went to AMC 24 a adult ticket was $9.50 and at Movie Tavern it is $7 bucks! I do like the fact that you dont have to miss the movie with long lines, you have someone to bring your food and drinks! Like that is wonderful! Now, yes the seating is not the best but as the old saying is you get what you pay for. The sits do make alot of nosy. But, over all i give it 5 stars! Im a parent of three boys and that is the only place i will go to go to the movies! I didnt like the pizza, they should sale by the slice.

• Pros: no long lines to get food and drinks they bring it to you.
• Cons: No parking, get there early tickets sale out due to cheap prices:)

A full bar and menu make for an ideal date night at the movies.

Inside one of the eight theaters of first-run movies, patrons plunk down on roller chairs and browse the menu of bar-style snacks and hearty entrees. Servers stay low to pick up and deliver food and drink orders throughout the film. Menu favorites include cheese fries, chopped Southwest chicken salad, fajita chicken quesadillas, grilled sirloin steak, half-pound black angus burgers, hand-tossed pizzas and sandwiches. Order margaritas, martinis, wine and beer by the glass, bucket or stein. Kids menu available.

Too Noisy

The office chairs in the theater need to be oiled. The chairs were so squeaky we had difficulty hearing the movie. Our waitress went to her manager to see if she could get us movie passes so we could return another day to watch the movie to which he replied there was nothing he could do about it. There is something he can do about it, oil the chairs. I love the concept behind the Movie Tavern but they have lost a customer. There are other theatres in Houston with the same theme.

• Cons: poor customer service and poor movie atmosphere

Horrible service and bland food

Cool idea, but the service is abysmal. I wonder if they just ship in hobos from the nearby I-45 overpasses and tell them, "Just hand this Coca Cola out."

The food is very bad quality, but even a low quality chicken breast is better than most of what you could get in a traditional theater.

We go here a lot because of their 6-beer cooler device: The Tavern Tanker. Nothing beats drinking beer in public from office chairs while watching slasher movies.

• Pros: Unique experience, beer is decently priced
• Cons: Horrible service, scattered seating methods, and did I mention horrible service?

Good food, ok service, great seating

Great concept, not good process for seating people and check paying. Seems like the server always forgets to come back and refill drinks & collect payment. Food is good and great seating! Popcorn really bad

• Pros: easy to get to & can keep kids entertained with lunch/dinner
• Cons: ok to bad service & hard to figure out where to stand for seating
