Made our relocation so much less stressful

Amy with In the Loop Properties was so much help. She did our searching for us, and truly found the best places based on our criteria. My wife and I spent hours and hours doing our own internet research (because we're not from Texas), and her list was so much better than hours, so we gave up searching for ourselves.

She took us around town and even waited while we filled out the rental application. As I mentioned, we're not from Texas, so we have no idea how to get around. The same tour of apartments would have taken three days without her.

Amy is relatively new to the company but certainly not to Houston. We quizzed her all afternoon about how best to get places and how long it would take, characteristics or various neighborhoods, etc. We cross-checked a few of her responses with some folks we know from Houston, and Amy was spot on.

Thanks, Amy, for everything.

Ada Wesley is great!

Because we're doing a cross-country move, I communicated with Ada mostly by email and phone in the two weeks prior to our trip to find an apartment. We only had one day to find a place, and Ada found us a great place in a great neighborhood. We had a lease signed in four hours! She stayed within our price range, helped us to get the amenities we wanted, and obviously had a great rapport with the apartment managers. I highly recommend Ada.

Great Experience

As an owner of investment real estate, I would give my business to no else. In the Loop (Shannon Chapman) Properties does an oustanding job of keeping you in the loop as to everything concerning your property while it is being listed to lease. Constant feedback and real time assistance with market conditions, showings, comments from prospective lessees, etc. It has been a pleasure working with in the loop.

Great Experience - Mike P.

Mike was our realtor/leasing agent and was great to work with. I originally saw an add for a condo in the Montrose area in the Houston Press and that's how I got into contact with him. In addition to stating he'd take me out to look at the property he quickly emailed me more listings that were within the price range and specifications I gave him. While mulling it all over he stayed in contact with me through phone. I decided on a place and we set up a time to go see it. He was on time and prepared and we even got to meet with the landlord which was really nice. He knew we were also checking different apartment complexes so when we gave our application for the condo he asked us how that search was going and if we wanted to check 1 more place before we handed over the deposit. Thought that was really helpful and it was a great apartment, but we stuck with our 1st choice. He took care of everything after that via phone.

He was in the office on a Saturday and it was easy to meet with him there. He also took our applications and showed us 1 more apartment complex in the pouring rain and seemed happy to do it.

Would definitely recommend.

Excellent (and FREE!) apartment locator

My boyfriend and I moved to Houston and lived with a friend for a bit. We were desperate to get out of that place and get into a place in a better area. I saw an ad for In the Loop and filled out our interests online and within minutes I had an email in my inbox from Jeny Payne welcoming me and giving me a list of apartments I may be interested in. Within the first week, she showed me a place that I really liked, but my boyfriend didn't like the area that well. Jeny would continue to send me lists and keep me updated. It took a couple more weeks bc not much was available at the time, but we finally found a place. She showed us 2 places that day. We basically forced her to show us one place; she told us we wouldn't like it, but she came on over when we called and showed us the place. She was right - not the place for us. But we did say it was exactly what we wanted but with a more updated look. She told us 2 streets over there was a place she'd like us to see. We didn't have an appointment and people were living here at the time, so it took some calling around and arranging on her part, but she finally got us in. As soon as I walked in, I knew the place was ours. Thank you Jeny! This place has been amazing (we've been here almost 3 months now). It's absolutely amazing. In the Loop has the best listings in town and the staff is really friendly and attentive to what you want. I recommend! And if we ever do leave here (we will have to be forced out!), then we will certainly give In the Loop a call.

Excellent Apartment Location Agency!!!

Moving to Houston and wanted to live close to work. I spoke with Drew and after giving him my criteria he was able to find me a very nice apartment within walking distance. Since he has worked the area for so long he also was able to hold an apartment for me even though others were interested. Drew also was helpful with local utilities and with the overall knowledge of the area.

• Cons: None... great guy and company

No Follow-Through

My husband and I were returning to Houston after three years in the Northwest. We wanted to find an apartment in our old neighborhood and were excited to find In The Loop. We were sure that based upon all the excellent reviews that we would be in good hands. What a disappointment. The agent, Jennifer Payne, was initially very helpful, but once we selected an apartment to move forward with-we never heard from her again. I called, left messages and sent emails to no avail. We were forced to continue a search on our own and make a long distance decision on an apartment with no advocate in Houston. Perhaps this was a fluke, however I would never recommend this particular business to anyone.

GREAT service for locating an apartment!

I am new to Houston and needed someone to help me decide what area of Houston would be right for me as well as a great apartment. Drew was amazing! He worked with me to find the perfect apartment in a neighborhood that I really love! He went the extra mile to get me as many options as he could in the area that I liked so that I would be happy with my final choice. And I was pretty picky! So I highly recommend Drew at In the Loop Propeties! He made this so easy for me! Go DREW!

Best Apartment Locators in Houston

I've never written a review on citysearch but felt that my great experience with In the Loop Properties warranted it. I sustained major damage to my apartment from Hurricane Ike and desperately needed to find a new place. I sought the help of In the Loop Properties and it saved me a lot of time and effort. Jennifer Payne with In the Loop not only provided excellent detailed lists of properties in my exact area of interest but also gave me reviews of properties I already visited. That type of market knowledge that only comes from placing and maintaining relationships with residents at the various properties is invaluable when you don't have time to thoroughly research every place yourself. Her relationships with the management of properties throughout the inner loop allowed me to learn about new specials as soon as they became effective ensuring I didn't miss out on those opportunities. In the Loop Properties is professional, resourceful and committed to ensuring its clients are happy with their new home.

In the Loop has been extremely helpful to me. A friend referred me to In the Loop and a friend referred her! I worked with Jennifer Payne. She was great about sending me new information as properties would become available. When viewing the properties with Jennifer, she put herself in my shoes... and gave honest and informative opinions. They will work with you and your needs and wants whatever they may be! I would highly recommend In the Loop... It's easy, It's free, IT'S AWESOME!!!!
