I was always rasied if you have a problem with you car, take it in to the shop where they have the tools and equipment. Mobile mechanics, just didn't do it for me. Their services just couldn't handle the needs I had. So, long story short services were bad and not fixed.

I must have died and went to heaven to find this mobile mechanic. I had recently took my 96 Ford Thunderbird to a local ford dealer ( I drove it in to be diagnosed, my car was idling rough ) well they told me I had a little water in my number 4 spark plug well and they would need to get the water out and replace my spark plug at a charge of $250.00 plus the diagnostic fee of $104.50 a total of $354.50 I told them I did not have the money at the time to have it fixed and I am not paying 250.00 to have a plug replaced, well they finally told me after they made we wait 3 hours that they could not let me drive my car due to my fuel injector spraying gasoline, I asked them why my fuel injector was spraying fuel out and they gave me the lame excuse that my fuel rail had been installed upside down so it had pinched one of my o-rings. They admitted to causing the problem sort of but refused to fix it they offered to toe my car to the shop of my choice or tow it to my home. I was furious I had it towed home my son fixed the o-ring within 20 minutes and he is not a mechanic, I called the owner and I did get my money back. NOW FOR THE GOOD STUFF THIS MOBILE MECHANIC IS THE MOST HONEST DEPENDABLE AND REASONABLE PERSON I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. I HAVE USED HIS SERVICE TWICE ONCE TO REPLACE MY BRAKE LINE ( I called rather late and he came right out and he worked until midnight, We were flying out to go to Disneyworld the next morning and he saved our vacation. I called this week cause my battery light was on and he had me running in no time. This guy knows his stuff and he does not second guess, His prices are fantastic and I will call him for all my automobile problems. THE PRICES ARE THE BEST AND I WILL CALL HIM BACK WHENEVER I NEED A MECHANIC I HIGHLY RECCOMEND HIM

Pros: GREAT PRICES PROFESSIONAL PROMPT SERVICE DEPENDABLE

Cons: NONE

His services don't compare to other garages due to the lack of equipment and parts. he has no parts with him to fix anything but a couple of batteries he has. Gimme a break! Not all car problems are battery issues.

Cons: Should have gone to garage!

I called Chris after looking for a mobile mechanic and finding that he was the only game in town if you don't live in town - and I really live outta town, one exit from Galveston. His trip charge was fair and up-front since he was driving no small distance to bring the garage to me. Since all I new was "car won't start" [and a tire was flat] it was possible for an unscrupulous person to have taken advantage of the situation; nothing could have been further from how things turned out. After doing a timely and proper diagnosis and telling me that it was only the battery, Chris drove me in his van onto Galveston Island to the chain where the battery was warrantied and then to Firestone to get the tire resealed. All the rates were as promised and the clock was honestly kept. The cure for the car has stuck and I would reccomend Chris without hesitation if you can't get to the garage and even if you can get to the garage you outta give him a try. It is always a challenge to find people you can trust to work on your vehicle and I am very happy to have found Chris and his service. Keep the number in your speed dial and make your appointment early - he gets busy.

Pros: Mobile, Skilled, Honest, Experienced, Knowledgable

Cons: None, Nothing, Zilch, Zip, Nada, Zero

I have used A Mobile several times for different issues I had with my car. The fact that you can get a mechanic to come to you is very convienant. The prices were affordable and the turn around time has always been great. There was a time that my car died on my on the freeway on the way to work. I just made a call and I got service and the help I needed to get back on the road. I would recommend his services.

Pros: Friendly, Knowledgeable, Intuitive

I called because my car wasn't running and I thought it would be nice to have a mechanice to come to me for a change instead of me going to a garage. Anyways, his services are inadequate compared to most garages.

I called because my car wouldn't start so I waited HOURS for him. When he got there with his little van, he charged a trip fee which I paid. Then there was a diagnostic fee, to figure out my car problems. Which he said, " it was an electrical issue" and he couldn't do it. Which really made me mad cause I was hoping for the convience of a mobile service. Long story short these people are only good if your car needs a battery or so something very easy.

Pros: SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD IDEA! MOBILE SERVICE

Cons: LIMITED KNOWLEDGE OF AUTO REPAIR

So my 1 year old battery crapped out in my 4 year old car on Sat night labor day weeked. Luckily it wasn't a weekday... So I call up Chris (its a one man business) and he is promptly there the next morning with a new battery. He made sure its the battery that's dead, and not the alternator, and I did not feel like he was rushing me, or that he just wanted to get paid. He explained what he was doing, was very friendly, and charged a very reasonable price, especially when you consider he came out on Sunday. He changed the battery fast, was very professional and obviously knows what he is doing. His existence was a life saver!! Instead of having to wait till Tuesday to get a tow or jump and go to wait at some shop for a new battery, he came over to my garage, installed the battery quickly and did not try to stiff me. So now my car works perfectly and I'm hoping this battery will last longer than the last (although it has a 2 year warranty on it.) You should keep his number with you and give it to all your friends, they will thank you. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Pros: fast, friendly, honest-well worth it.

Cons: NONE!!
