I tried Fiori for the first time a week ago and it was really great!! I am a massage fanatic and I have never been able to find someone who gives the kind of massage I want until now. I found MY massage therapist. I was lucky to be booked with Anna and I will return as long as she is there. She had the pressure right. She talked very little during the massage and she even gave me tips on how I can keep my muscles relaxed. At the end, she showed me how to stretch my back at home. I left feeling incredible and completely relaxed. I have been doing my stretches and feeling great!! The customer service at the check out desk was really friendly as well. I can't imagine how anyone would have a bad experience here, but I guess it is possible. I highly recommend you try this place to see for your self.
Pros: Best massage service ever!!
Cons: Limited Parking

I and a co-worker treated ourselves to a spa afternoon this past Friday, prior to the wine garden event. This was my second visit to the spa, and first time with a friend joining me. My massage was as great as the first, and was the reason I returned, and brought someone with me. My co-worker? She loved her treatment, and loved the spa. So, my two experiences have been great. Was the spa perfect? Of course not. Are you perfect? Whenever real people are involved, there is always something you could point to and say something negative about. To me, a day spa isn't a place to go and expect better than yourself; it is a place to retreat to for relaxation, rejuvenation, and stress relief. I appreciate this place, Fiori, for that, because that is what it is for, and for that, they do an excellent job. I mention this only because I was curious as to what others had to say, and after having read some of the reviews, makes me wonder if some of these reviewers have ever actually been here, or if they were, were they the kind of clients I would not want in my own place of business. I know that if something were simply not right, I would have no trouble telling someone, the manager, on the spot, at this or any other place of business, especially one that I cared to frequent. Again, just the opinion of a simple girl from Mississippi...I rambled; great place; and I will be back.
Pros: Convienent hours, skilled therapists
Cons: Front desk "people issues" observed, but nothing fatal

I am writing this because I was asked to by someone I can only assume is the new manager (she didn’t introduce herself). Over the last several months it seems like the service has gone downhill. The front desk staff and the rest of the spa staff used to be courteous and friendly. Now you're lucky if they even smile when I walk in the door. I have been a regular customer of Fiori’s for some time now. It’s convenient for me as I just live down the street. And their therapists are top notch! I highly recommend a facial (Shay) and a massage (Nick or Jennifer). I can’t speak to the nail department; I have never had a nail service there. But, if it is customer service you’re looking for, you might want to look elsewhere. The place seems to have gone to the wolves ever since Natalie “left”. Don’t let the plush surroundings fool you. They want you “in and out” quickly. (That is a new development.) The girls at the front desk seem too busy on the phone for customers that are actually THERE for service. And it’s a definite craps shoot on whether you’ll get a friendly one or not. And I remember when we used to get escorted upstairs and greeted with smiling faces with offers of something to drink. Now it is “head up the stairs” and when you reach the landing there’s a “do it yourself” drink station. It just seems like there are 100 tiny things wrong all the time. The hot tub is broken. The steam room isn’t working. There are constantly lights out and the building’s cleanliness has reached an all time low. The attendants are usually too busy on their cell phones (or eating. Yes EATING) to actually help the customers out. I think management needs a swift kick in the pants. I hope they turn the place around. It used to be such a wonderful retreat.
Pros: Great Therapists
Cons: The rest of the staff

My mom of all people told me recently “you’re skin just doesn’t look as good as it used to”. This led me to realize that I need to do more as I age to keep my skin looking fresh. I researched all of the Houston day spas online and chose Fiori for a much needed facial. I scheduled an appointment for the Le Grand Classique facial based on the description that it would be deep cleaning yet not cause redness or inflammation. When I arrived I was promptly greeted by the staff and escorted through the spa for my appointment with Shea. She was able to immediately identify problem areas and assess what is likely causing my skin to look flat and unappealing. Almost two hours later I was in heaven. The whole process was fantastic. The best part though is that it’s been over 3 weeks and my skin still looks amazing. I’m definitely going back. It was worth every penny.

The only positive I found of this spa is the nice building the spa is housed in. The services I received were mediocre, but better than the ruddiness of the people at the check in counter. Don't get fooled by appearances like I did, this is not the real deal.

After receiving a gift certificate, I decided to play "hooky" from work last Friday, and booked a massage and facial here. Let me tell you, everything I had heard about this place from friends was true. An amazing space, and amazing treatments. The space is so open, yet warm and cozy too. If you are used to a resort level spa experience, this is the place for you. Hard to explain, you just have to experience it for yourself. It certainly made my Monday easier. :-)
Pros: It's a spa, and a great one at that!
Cons: My spa budget :is too small

I became acquainted with the spa after attending a wine garden event that included an after hours tour. Booked an appointment on the spot. This place is a true no compromises destination caliber spa, staffed by professionals throughout. Small touches, like addressing me by name, escorting me through the spa, and the coordination showed by the staff; everyone that I came into contact with was genuinely kind, and seemed to be in tune with the idea of relaxation and rejuvenation. Houston has some (few) spas that I would recommend to friends that travel and "spa", and this is most certainly the top of the (short) list.
Pros: Indoor mineral pool, purpose built location, excellent staff
Cons: Closed on Mondays-my day off

I was given a gift certificate by a friend of mine for a facial at Fiori. I specifically asked for the best facialist, because I want someone who knows what they are doing. The lady I spoke with recommended a facialist named Lucy (I think). She told me this facialist was the head facialist. I was very excited because I have heard this place is beautiful. The facial I received was by far the worst ever. She was difficult to understand because she had a thick accent. She got lotions up my nose and in my mouth. Everything she put on my face was so hot, I felt she was burning me. Even the mask was too hot. She also seemed rushed through the entire service. I was so disappointed by the facial that I won't return. If a facial from the head facialist is this terrible, imagine a facial from the rest of the facialists. The prices are too high for a low quality facial. The place really is beautiful, but that is not enough to keep me coming back.
Pros: It truly is a beautiful spa.
Cons: Worst facials

Yes, the spa is gorgeous, however, I have to say I wasn't impressed with the service. My pedicure was well, a pedicure, but I was freezing the whole time because of the openess of the room. Manicure was nice...Then I had the massage, which was the worst massage I've ever had. To begin, the lady tried to pop my back like a chiropractor! It knocked the wind out of me because I didn't know it was coming. Then she proceded to talk to me the whole time. I work in a medical field and I regretted telling her this because she went on and on about a friend who had a condition. Sounds selfish, but I just wanted to relax. Bathroom/changing room/steam room were all fantastic and well kept. Like I said, its a nice spa, but when its priced almost 10-20% higher than other Houston area spas, you expect a large difference.
Pros: Beautiful place, comfy waiting area, clean
Cons: Expensive, not worth the price

This escape is so romantically amazing! Every detail reflects careful thought. Decor is impeccable, employees are attentive, accommodating and professional. Food is delicious (not enough). Good sounds, aromas and just enough light (not dank). When their website said 5 star.. no kidding. Even the products they sold in the front shop showed good taste. Though it is pricey, this is like the Bellagio or Wynn of day spas, and when I've had a tough month... I deserve this! It's a place I would actually want to stay the whole day, wandering around or giggling with my girlfriends.
Pros: atmosphere
Cons: small parking area
