i have gone to this pub a few times, and the times i've made it inside, it was a lot of fun. but the waiting and powertripped bouncer make it not worth it. they really do enforce racial profiling, even when its not crowded. i went w/ two other girls on a saturday night-- all of us asian girls. they made us wait in line for 30min, but we were the only ones in line! there was no wait for others to get in. that was slightly confusing, but i shrugged it off. i went again last weekend on a friday at 930pm (no lines, not even crowded inside), this time i went w/ an asian guy and girl. they let us girls in, but they wouldnt let the asian guy in because he was wearing tennis shoes. we didn't fight it, we just stepped aside and waited a bit. we saw about 5 white guys w/ tennis shoes walk in. so we asked the bouncer why he let them in and not us. he said it was because their shoes were Diesel, not real "tennis shoes." so we said fine and left. as we were walking away, a white guy with Nikes gets in line, shows his ID and walks right in with no problem. How blatant is that?
Pros: nice atmosphere inside, fun people
Cons: racial profiling before getting in the door
