5 Star Rating: Highly Recommended

Well, this was a welcome addition to Houston's collection of architecture, I must say. I've been going for quite a while to Dr. Dinh, though admittedly not as often as recommended i'm sure. The atmosphere is great, what else can you expect from a dental office that looks like a high end spa? Whoever did the decorating is great, go see for yourself! So simple yet so colorful yet so chic and nice, I could go on forever. As for the service, sometimes a bit vague but as a patient, I believe it is ones responsibility to ask the questions. Doctors are busy, I'm sure, so ask questions and you'll get clear answers from Dr. Dinh. I recommend her.

Pros: NICE office, simple atmosphere, takes my insurance, one on one feel, professional

Cons: SOMETIMES rushed, low staff (but really I think i like it that way),

I went to Dr. Dinh after reading her glowing reviews online, and since her office is conveniently located. It's true, her office decor is very stylish and modern, the receptionist and assistants are kind, and the doctor is efficient and adept at what she does. Her cool, no-nonsense bedside manners kind of put me off, but I thought nothing of it. As long as she does the job well and is professional, I'm ok. But my last visit to her was shocking. Granted, this was near the end of the day so she wants to go home sooner than later. But her bedside manners were deplorable and very unprofessional. When she was making the filling, I kept on swallowing because a piece of gauze inside was tickling my throat. But instead of stopping her work to ask me if I was ok, she kept on asking annoyingly "Why are you swallowing? I have to do this over again each time you swallow" while she kept on prodding my mouth with the tools. Afterwards, when I was supposed to chew down on a piece of paper to see if the filling was done right, she said impatiently to me "Why aren't you listening to me?" like I was a child when I wasn't chewing down as fast as she wanted. Even her assistant helping looked at her in surprise at how she was talking to me. I have had good dentists in the past, (even student dentists were better!) and after this experience, it makes me more appreciative of them.

Pros: decor, staff, location

Cons: bedside manners, price

Dr. Dinh and her staff are a fantastic and professional dental team. I usually dreaded going to the dentist, until a friend recommended I try Dr. Dinh. That was 2 years ago and I can not say enough about how at ease and gentle Dr. Dinh is. I've had a couple of fillings, two crowns, and my teeth whitened and am very pleased with the results. I find her very knowledgeable and informative when it comes to procedures, and her prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend Dr. Dinh for those seeking a highly skilled dentist in a chic office (not your typical sterile dental office) at very affordable prices.

Pros: Friendly, Affordable, Talented

Cons: none

The dentist is pushy to provide her service. She made a mistake at my dental exam. She did fill-in instead of a necessary root canal. I got toothache shortly after fill-in. She then charged me again for treating the same tooth without any apology or refund. Not a recommended dentist.

Clean office but poor skills. I did 3 root canals at her place and they all got infected within a year!! Bad choice for patients who look for good quality.

This dentist has a nice office and a gentle hand, but is extremely expensive, and doesn't accept the terms of coverage for Aetna users. My husband and I have Aetna, and we found her on the list of dentisis that accept it. We are supposed to be 80% covered. We find out that she only will take 50% coverage with Aetna when there is a root canal emergency in our family. This means we paid $750 out of our own pockets for a procedure that is only supposed to be around $900 anyway, but she charges $1500 and we have to pay half! We won't be back. With our insurance coverage at a "normal" dentist, we would be pating around $175 out of pocket. We lose hundreds every time we need to see her, and frankly, she's NOT worth it! Save your $$, people!

Pros: Gentle

Cons: Not up front about insurance

Pricey. You're paying for the beautiful space. The Dr. does the cleaning herself. IMHO, not the best cleaning available.

Pros: sleek, modern, awesome office. terriffic cosmetic work.

Cons: rushed in-mouth service, pricey, painful.
