If you are looking for yoga classes - keep browsing. The Dahn Hak organization is selling something completely different. If you have a limitless supply of money and time - and very little self-esteem - this is the place for you! After each class, there is "tea time" when each participant is invited to share about their class experience. When you have had a few classes and are starting to "get into it", you will share an experience or ask a question that will result in some one-on-one time with the instructor( or "master"). They will get you in a prone position on the floor, get you talking about very personal things and then engage in a VERY AGGRESSIVE, HIGH PRESSURE sales pitch to get you to sign up for a longer membership and/or for an expensive seminar/training program. You will be informed of "what is wrong with you" and how giving Dahn Yoga more money can make you better. If you succumb to this initial sales pitch, GET READY - it only gets worse! The more that they get to know you, the more information they have to use in their very manipulative marketing program. So what are they REALLY selling? The path to spiritual enlightenment (seriously) - via the great wisdom of their guru/cult leader, Ilchee Lee. And you can bet that, no matter how many seminars that you attend or how much money you spend, there is always going to be something wrong with you that requires you to give more and more money to Master Lee. If you try to protest, you will be told that this is your "resistance" getting in the way. The strategy is to get you to spend as much as possible, as soon as possible, so that they have maximized their profit on the front end. They really try and push the expensive year-long (then Gold) membership. But once you have been a member for a few months, you will realize that no one sticks around that long - even if they have pre-paid for it - because of the pushy sales techniques. YOGA IS GREAT - but not here. - A Gold Member
Pros: Uniforms

It appears that some dahn member is posting under vortex_park and reviewing the different centers as multiple people with different ailments and 'alleged' cures. Also, the dahn centers are erasing all critiques/ reviews that have been previously posted. Exercise and meditation are proven to be beneficial and there are many other traditional groups to choose from that don't employ the controversial methods and aggressive sales pitches of the Dahn Hak organization. One session of beating my belly and screaming how much I love myself was enough for me. Disclaimer: They have been known to help some people but many have complained about their experience.
