Good sushi, great price.
by msoulk
The rolls are delicious, and the happy hour menu is awesome. Only been here a few times, and it's usually crowded.
Happy hour is unbeatable!
by LaceyFrills
Happy hour is unbeatable! Cheap drinks, food is fantastic, atmosphere is ultra casual & fun. Come early, as there is often a wait & parking gets dicey. Bathrooms need improvement, but the rest is so good that I tend to overlook those things.

I can't fault the sushi and sashimi here - I've only had better in Japan. The specials menus are fantastic value. It's usually packed and slightly chaotic inside, but that's part of the charm. If you're not bothered about fancy decor and just want to eat great sushi, go here. The only minus point is the occasional lax service. I'm not deducting any marks for the wait - that's a sign of a great place.
Best Sushi in the Galleria Area
by weezle
This is my 3 stop a week sushi lunch place. I get in and out full on sushi for 10 bucks. You can't beat that. Comparable places, like Japon or something, will charge you twice as much and give you less food. The waitstaff is great. If you are close by and want a quick, healthy, good lunch, go here for sure.
- Pros: Inexpensive, casual atmosphere
- Cons: Not big enough
Good sushi if you like to wait *followup
by cfreyja
I can guarantee that if you go at happy hour, you will not be in line only 10 minutes, like the last review said, more like an hour, which I experienced just last week.
- Pros: Decent prices, good quality
- Cons: Bad service, horrible wait, horrible parking
Best sushi in town!
by catbrat
This place is amazing. Even with the restaurant packed in the middle of happy hour, we were seated within ten minutes of arrival. They have a huge menu, and everything we ordered was outstanding! Their hamachi is so fresh that it melts in your mouth like butter, and there are numerous vegetarian choices in addition to all the great seafood. Be sure to try the black mushroom roll and baked mussel roll in addition to your usual favorites!
- Pros: FRESH, great variety, excellent service, unbelievable prices
- Cons: Parking, but there's a decent lot next door.
best happy hour

The best happy hour sushi in town! The service is the worst- but the food is good and the service is fast. Try the crunch sushi and the baked mussels- YUMMY!
- Pros: prices
- Cons: service
This is where my paycheck goes!!!
by jayzcc83
this place is the best sushi. I go there at least every pay period sad but true. Food is always excellent and the service is freindly and very attentive. I found out about this place 3 years ago and have made all of my family and freinds sushi lovers because of this place. The only downfall would have to be its not close to sugarland. Maybe thats good so i won't eat here everyday. LOLZ
- Pros: cheap high quality sushi
- Cons: small place
awesome happy hour
by daisychain
I love this little sushi cafe. The atmosphere is relaxed and the servers are friendly. The happy hour is awesome. I think the large hot sake is $3 and the appetizers are buy one get one free. Couple those with some $1 sushi pieces and you have a full meal for ten bucks. There can be a wait if you get there around six, but it's totally worth it!
- Pros: $1 sushi
- Cons: none
Not as good as the reviews said
by YvonneB26
Was very reluctant to try this place. My instincts were right. I ordered to go - the rice was burnt, the salad dressing horrible and the rolls tasted funny.
- Pros: close to the office
- Cons: slow service, sushi/rolls not so good
