I think I've finally found her

I went to Morpheus for the first time and I will definitely be going back.

I have medium length wavy-ish hair (depending on the weather) and like to get highlights on my mousey brown hair. I don't want a homogenous bleach blonde and I don't want obvious streaks or chunks. I have been to many, many salons in austin, houston, and new york, and there is usually something a little off every time.

Amy, who cut and colored my hair, is likeable, unpretentious, and she did a wonderful job!! Highlights are perfect in amount and consistency. They are not chunky or streaky, and are blended seamlessly. It looks like my hair is naturally like that. It's great.

The price was reasonable for multiple color highlights and a haircut. And the parking was easy.

I highly recommend!!

Great Pleace

I went to Kurt and he did a really good job on the hair cut. I am never sure until I go home and style it myself but it looked good when I did it at home and I am not good at styling my hair. I will go back to hime for sure. The salon was clean and I liked the products that he used on my hair:)

I never go into a nice salon for a hair cut, but i was driving by and thought why not. The place was very stylish and the girl Amy who worked there gave me a great cut. She also gave me styling tips and was very professional which I thought was great. I would recommend this place to anyone who expects a little extra at a salon.

I'M IN LOVE with Amy!

I have been going to Amy for years, and when I found out she moved to Morpheus I thought it was a match made in Heaven! The atmosphere at the salon is a great mix of trendy and quirky and it always feels very intimate to me.

Amy is an amazing hair dresser. I have referred so many people to her and I only hear what a wonderful experience they had. She always listens to what you are looking for and produces a top notch cut for your noggin. And dont get me started on her mad coloring skills. It must be second nature to her.

If you are looking for great hair and a great place to get it done, GO SEE AMY AT MORPHEUS!

I've been seeing Amy for years, and I only trust her with my hair! Morpheus is a fantastic salon, everyone there is great, it's a great atmosphere. I highly recommend this shop & Amy in particular!!!

Amy has been cutting my hair for 4 years now! I won't let anyone else touch my hair except for her. She always gives me the greatest shape to my hair, and I get compliments from total strangers daily. I've resulted to carrying around her business cards and telling people to ask for the "Melanie" when they inquire about my hair.

Amy is Awesome!

After months and months of searching for a new salon, I ran across Morpheus via a friend's recommendation. Since going that first time, I have been loyal, and will continue to go in the future, as long as Amy is there! I would follow this girl anywhere! She always cuts my hair the way I like it, she always listens when I tell her how much I want to cut, whether it's short or long. As an added bonus, she is the only person that has ever waxed my eyebrows the way I like!! I highly recommend this salon to someone in search of a new stylist.

Don't use AMY!!!

When you call Amy answers and if you have never been there she recommends Amy. She doesn't know what she is doing and had to get Kurt to tell her what to do to my hair. Then she didn't listen and my hair is red. I had a bad feeling when I went in there and I should have high tailed in out of there. I will NEVER go back!!

Great Cut and people

After years of the same all one lenght, middle of the back hairstyle, I was ready for something different. Amy listened to my needs/desires on length, ease of maintenance, etc... and then proceeded to give me the perfect cut. I couldn't have been happier and won't be going anywhere else after this!

What can I say?

Awesome! That's what! I haven't had my hair cut in over 2 years....maybe 3. Long...straggly and ugly! I was ready to shave my head! In desperation I contacted Kurt for a drastic makeover. He listened to what I wanted, but I had no concrete idea of a hairstyle, just that I wanted it shorter, frame my face better and easy to manage. He did a wonderful style. I like looking at myself in a mirror again and OH! the compliments that I got at work the next day! And I can also give a thumbs up on hair color. He was finishing a color when I got there and I saw her leave. Beautiful! I don't know if it's called streaking or frosting, but it was very becoming. I also got a mini-facial and eyebrow shaping while I was there. Robin did the best job that I've had on my brows. The facial? Ah! What can I say? I felt like a millionaire in an expensive resort being pampered to the max!
