Hungarian Mud!
by MW258
I've been loking for new treatments to try and came across this hungarian mud wrap. Ok, gave it a try. Loved it!! It's more of a detox as well as gets rid of body aches and pains. They put essential oils in the mud to make it better. Very relaxing and I felt wonderful afterwards!! I have fibromyalgia and this is the first time in forever I've felt this good! The therapist suggested I do a series of 15 treatments. I'm on my third treatment and it's getting to be longer before the pain comes back. I feel I'm getting my life back! I highly recommend this to anyone in constant body pain!
- Pros: Unbelievable!
Nick is great!
by wendy2222
I've gotten several massages from Nick just for relaxation and he is fantastic. But I have to give him a special shout-out for helping me with some pain I had lately. I experienced sciatic pain in my hip and leg and with only 2 massages he completely worked it out! Now I don't have to take the pain medication I was on. Thanks so much Nick!
- Pros: Great massages, friendly staff, cozy atmosphere
EXCELLENT FACIALS!!!
by smilesandsunshine
I started getting facials at Dolce Vita about 2 months ago and I have been very pleased with the results. I have been battling with acne for years now and never realized how important daily, weekly and monthly maintenance are for the skin. Bailie was very patient with me and took the time out to customized their skin care line for me. Because of my busy schedule I have had the opportunity of getting a facial done by one of their other estheticians as well and the consistency of the quality of their estheticians was very impressive. Paulette was the other esthetician I tried and she was great.. Although there were slight differences in their technique both facials were awesome. Normally when I've visited spas in the past there's usually only one person you feel you can trust, and I am very happy to be able to have 2!!! BTW I'm not really into waxing my eyebrows but tried it with Paulette and I am very pleased!!! Overall dolce vita has been a great experience and the atmosphere they have created is very relaxing.
- Pros: quality in service from everyone//product line/love location
Just eh..

Well, I'm big on customer service so that's really what makes me go back to a place. My visit was in last spring/summer (so maybe it's changed) but it was dead when I was there. I was the only client. There were 3 employees in the lobby talking to each other and none acknowledged me. I had a male massage therapist, which doesn't bother me, but he wasn't genuine. Don't get me wrong, the massage was great but I felt like he didn't want to be there. When I got done and exited the room to pay, my therapist was whispering to the check out girl and continued to do so while I waited. It was definetly weird. I kinds felt like he was talking about me but maybe I'm just being paranoid. I dunno, I've had far better service in other places and like I said, this was a year ago, so maybe things are different.
Kristi Rocks

Dolce Vita has a great massage therapist named Kristi. I am a repeat visitor because she is so good at working out areas that need more focus. Her hands are strong and she knows her stuff. I get real tight from excercise and after a massage from Kirsti I feel like my muscles fall back into a relaxed place.

- Pros: Strong hands, experience, great attitude
- Cons: NONE
great massage

My first massage at dolce vita was with Stephanie. When I met her she was very sweet and made me feel very comfortable. We talked for a minute and got to know each other which I thought made her unique from other massage therapists that I have had in the past because I felt like we developed a friendship. The massage itself was very relaxing she knew how to release all my stress and I left feeling amazing. I would recommend her to anyone.
- Pros: it was worth the money
Kristi is the best!
by mystique24
I go to many spas and I have been to many massage therapists. Rarely do I ever come across a therapist as talented as Kristi at Dolce Vita Day Spa. She knew exactly what areas to go to and at just the right pressure. The spa itself is kinda small, but very cozy and pretty. In a place like that, the therapists can usually give you more of the attention you deserve. I left feeling like a million bucks! You can believe I’m a regular now!
- Pros: her amazing massages
- Cons: none
A Getaway from Stress!
by woodroe21
I've been going to Dolce Vita for about a year now and it's about time that I let them know how much I appreciate them! I've always really enjoyed the friendly staff, the cozy atmosphere and the wonderful treatments. I always feel as though I've escaped my stresses when I'm there and they've taught me little things to do to carry that feeling over into my everyday life. I really love this place and can't imagine my life without the regular massages and facials that I recieve there!
- Pros: customer service, comfortable & homey atmosphere
Pure Heaven
by srwinter83
I go to Dolce Vita Day Spa for facials with Paulette fairly often. By fairly often I mean whenever I get the chance, which isn’t really often at all considering my work schedule… I enjoy the atmosphere there; the warm tones, the relaxing scent that calms you as you walk in. Everything about it whispers, “Relax, take a load off. Stressful job? Screaming kids? Rush, rush? These words need not apply here.” Everyone there treats me so warmly every time I visit. What can I say about Paulette’s facials other than Pure Heaven? She has such a gentle touch, I find myself drifting in and out during each facial. I love the yonka products she recommends. My face has never felt and looked so good, and my nerves so relaxed. Thank you, Paulette!
- Pros: atmosphere, paulette's facials!
- Cons: can't come every day
Calming and Relaxing Atmosphere
by jmbrya
My 16 year old son gave me a gift certificate for Christmas. I love the atmosphere. It is like being in one of the old Heights homes. I live in the Heights and this spa is as welcoming as being at home. I don't like the institutional feeling of other spas in the city.
Stephanie did a great massage for me yesterday. She was able to find all the stress knots in sholders and work all the stress out of my body. Being open on Sunday's means that I don't have to take vacation time from work to visit the spa.
I have finally used all the gift certificate from Christmas. Mother's Day is next week. This would be a wonderful Mother's Day present to all the kids out there looking for something for Mom.
- Pros: Open on Sundays
- Cons: Limited Parking
