Too crowed=lack of individual attention

Not happy. I have been a customer of theirs for at least a year before I went to them for my wedding hair and makeup. I made an appointment to come in with 4 other people in my bridal party. We made the appointment at 10am (my ceremony was at 2:30) giving me plenty of time to relax before the ceremony. Well we get there a little early and Melvie is working on someone. They give us mimosas (great) and then ask us to look at magazines to decide. It's now 10 am and Melvie and the others are juggling around a bunch of other clients that are there. Now its 10:30, still haven't started on my hair. OK, now it's 10:50, I am starting to get impatient and asking when are they going to start. Melvie asked "when is the latest time you need to get out of here" I say "1pm". I really ideally would have liked to be done by 12 which would have been completely reasonable if they had started when they were supposed. They finally started on our hair around 11am 11:15 and didn't finish up until 1:05. I was completely rushing around until the ceremony. Also, they had the girl that washes the hair doing my mom in laws hair and it kept coming out terrible! IF they were short staffed they should not have taken the appointment. NOT HAPPY and they lost my business!

Thank you for giving your honest review and also letting us service you for a year. Yes, we were very short-handed that day. We were short a stylist and a shampoo tech. But like you saw in the salon, we all came together and made sure everyone was taken care of. The young lady that you saw helping me wasn?t a shampoo girl, she is my assistant. I have complete trust in her ability and watched her curl your mother-in-law?s hair. My assistant started it and I finished her hair and she was satisfied when she left the salon. I do know that my little salon has been growing quickly and we try to make EVERYONE happy. I will speak to our receptionist as far as scheduling so that in the future we will not let this happen again. I?m glad that you made the wedding in time and wish you a happy future with your new husband. Thank you again.

Great atmosphere and wonderful people

I like this place because it isnt very snooty and the people there are all nice. It's not a spa that tries to be one of those high end spas. Its a very friendly place run by great folks. Melvie is my stylist and I also get my nails done there. Saturday mornings they serve mimosas and its a fun place to get ready for the evening! My stylist is the best and the others there are great too. Prices are reasonable compared to many other day spas. I love this place. Thank you ladies.

Melvie is the best

Melvie has colored and cut my hair and did a great job. I was extremely pleased. I live in the Heights and was looking for a salon close to home and I am so glad I finally found one! Thanks to Melvie and her staff who always make you feel so welcome and do such a great job!

Great stylist

Heights Blvd is my place to run and I decided to try and do something with my hair. Ponytails weren't working anymore and it was time for something different. I went to two different salons in the Heights and walked out very upset. The young women were very nice but had no ideas and must have been right out of school. I finally tried Cosa Bella and had my hair done by Melvi. She was so good at her job and was very nice. I have recommended her to several friends and will go again. I'm sorry I didnt find her sooner. Thanks!

Nice little place in the Heights area

I got a gift certificate from my fiancé for my birthday. I had a pedicure first and it was okay nothing special. The woman looked tired or sleepy and kept talking to other people while giving me my service. I thought to myself that it was going to be a bad experience. I also had my hair cut there and the stylist was very good at her job. She gave me some tips on what I could do and made me feel comfortable. She was the owner of the salon and was so sweet. I love my hair and am going to schedule another appointment soon.

Great Full Service Spa and Salon

I have purchased every service this spa and salon has to offer and have been pleased with each one. My husband and toddler now get their hair cut here, as well. I have been going to Melvie for a year now and always get compliments on my cut and color! The massages, facials, mani/pedis are wonderful! I love that there is just one chair for pedicures, it makes the experience feel a little more special. All of the staff is very friendly and I feel very at home whenever I come in, which is something I value highly in a salon. It is a perfect place to come in to relax and get pampered. It also helps that they offer so many spa packages - it is a great one-stop shop for my husband to get a last minute gift.

great facial and massage

Recently I got my mom a spa day package there...facial, massage, mani, and pedi. She REALLY enjoyed the facial. It has been a couple of weeks and she says she still feels the benefits from it. The massage was great, too. The only thing we probably wouldn't go back for is the mani or pedi. Not very impressed with that, but it wasn't bad either. We are definitely going back for a facial. :)

Enjoyed my appointment

I didnt schedule an appointment because of my busy schedule so I decided to just walk in. I wasnt able to get in with Melvi so her stylist Arthur was able to do my hair. He was so kind and very attentive to my request. It was my second time there and I was very pleased. He gave me a great cut and color. The shampoo girl was also very sweet. Everyone is so kind there. I am telling all of my friends about this place.

I am staying....thank you Melvie

I almost left this place because my usual hairstylist no longer works there. While she was a good stylist, I had to get reminded why I liked this place so much. I tried several places and didnt like it all. I went to a place that was too stuffy and another where they didnt speak any English. This made me think twice about what I missed about Cosa Bella. I'm sorry.

Cosa Bella is not a huge place, its not a small place, it is perfect. Everyone there are awesome people. Melvie treats everyone that walks in the door the same. She smiles and says Hi even if they arent her customers. Yuli is great, Andrea, Amanda and all of the girls there are so nice. I like they way all of them get along and help each other. Its kind of crowded sometimes on the weekends but sometimes we all sit and talk while we wait.

My color and haircut look so nice that even my husband noticed it. Thank you Melvie for being my new stylist and I want to let you know that I love your Cosa Bella.
