Salon E seems to have it all. Lawrence is a phenomal stylist. I highly recommend him. Also, Melanie is the best colorist in town. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my color except Melanie! Get ready to look amazing....visit Lawrence and Melanie!!!!!!

Pros: Everything, Front desk staff is wonderful, too!

When my friend so generously gave me a facial for my birthday, I never knew the joy that awaited me. I probably had 2 facials in my life before going to Monique and I was never like "oohh-ahh"...but boy did my opinion change after her work! Wow, this was not only the best thing I've done for my skin but also for my often stressy life! It's such a great opportunity to wind down and just relax for an hour and a half. Not only do you get a facial, but also a back and leg massage on this crazy-cool water-gel bed...you gotta try it to see what I mean! And the scents of the all-natural, fruit masks are wonderful and soothing while giving your skin the TLC it deserves! If you love facials, hate facials, have never had a facial, want to try a facial, want to get someone a facial for a gift - this is THE place to go for the best one money can buy. You will not regret it!!! And believe me, when you try to get an appointment you will understand how great Monique is - she books up months in advance...so why wait another moment...go and get on the books to pamper yourself ASAP! :)

Salon E is great! I've gone to plenty of posh salons in Houston, but none compare to Salon E & the great work of Lawrence! The atmosphere is so relaxed and Lawrence keeps me entertained throughout the whole appointment. Being blonde, I've asked many hair dressers to go lighter with my color and to brighten my mane, but I always ended up with brassy, disappointing highlights. Lawrence is the complete opposite! When I asked him to lighten my hair, he did EXACTLY what I wanted and even calls me his blonde princess! He's great at cutting hair too, always keeping me looking fresh and fun, never outdated! YOU WILL COME OUT LOOKING FABULOUS! If you want your hair taken care of by the best, then go to Lawrence! Great color, great cut, great atmosphere, AND he'll keep you laughing the whole time! I love Lawrence and the respect he has for his clients, and I will not go anywhere else!

Salon E is a great salon. Lawrence K. does my hair and he is simply fabulous. I have hair that I wouldn't just trust to anyone, and I wouldn't want to go to anyone else. Lawrence is funny, personable and very talented, as is the whole staff at Salon E. They will make you feel very welcome and their goal is not only to make you look fabulous but to feel fabulous. Lawrence will work with you to decide on the best cut for your hair and facial structure, and his styling and coloring are top notch. He's friendly and will treat you like family. This is not the salon for those who think snobbery is "high style." Salon E is hip and cool, with a well-educated and trained staff that is always up on both the current style and the cutting edge. The one bad review is simply rubbish, methinks written by a yip-yip dogesque shill who has more interest in being a douchebag and personally attacking someone than writing a valid review.

Pros: Very talented, personable and fun staff.

Cons: None.

After reading the review below i can do absolutely nothing but laugh. Lawrence has been in this industry for over 11 years. I moved to New York City 3 months ago and will not let anyone else touch my hair. he does exactly what i want every single time i come in. he is edgy, creative, and only admires the hair on the head of the person he is styling in the mirror. as far as his color goes, i am an ash blonde all over all the way. lawrence is the ONLY ONE who can get it as white as i like it, he knows how much i hate brass. all the stars might get their hair done in NYC- but i come back to houston for "HURRICANE LAWRENCE" because hes knowlegeable, sweet, super funny and always has a recommendation if i ask for one. plus the atmosphere there is so layed back and i dont feel like im being rushed in or out, the front desk girls are SO informative and know EVERYTHING there is to know about the products they sell. plus.... jose gives the best shampoo ever.! ! ! ! I LOVE SALON E!

Pros: everything- easy to find friendly fun educated staff relaxing atmosphere

Cons: absolutely nothing

Nicole Obert is amazing ... i get compliments on my hair everywhere i go. i refer her to all of my friends. she definitely knows what type of haircut fits a person's face. cut ... color ... highlights ... she doe flawlessly. she is gives ultra trendy hair makeovers and i love her!

Pros: the whole salon experience is great ... everyone will walk out rejuvenated and new.

I was referred to David Michael by a friend in my office, and I had a great experience. He made me feel very relaxed and I could feel the confidence in his hands as soon as he touched me. Amazing hands! He was worth every penny and I finally found someonw who will really do a great job. Even after my haircut he never left my side until he made sure that I was leaving with everything that I needed. I was not hustled in and out like sheep at other places I have been before. Highly recommended.

Pros: friendly staff, upscale but down to earth, talented hairdressers

Cons: was a little hard to find

i had never been to salon e before but was referred to Nicole by a friend. I told her i was looking for something new, fun and easy and she did just that. She is extremely talented for someone her age. So, if your looking for a new style thats fun and easy, i would recommend seeing her, she made me feel young again!!!!!!

Pros: Very proffesional front desk, knowledgeable staff, everyone is extremely friendly!

I worked as a stylist next to Lawrence at Sensia. I found him to be a great listener, funny and most of all a VERY TALENTED STYLIST. I have recently relocated to Ft. Worth and trust Lawrence COMPLETELY with my clientele. As someone who has experienced Lawrence from both the stylist and client angle (yes he did MY hair), I recommend him to anyone looking for great hair and a great overall experience! Katrina Martin
