Trust these guys !

These guys are absolutely brilliant ! I thought I blew my power supply of my PC - they checked the PC in a professional manner and found out that it works !! And they refused to charge me anything for it either ! Now you ask why is this so special - I first took the PC to Best Buy Geek Squad and left it with them for a week only to be told it doesn't work and I need a new PC.AND it cost me $ 150 for the "repair" !!!!! Trust me,trust these guys !!! There aren't too many honest and knowledgable people around these days .....
A techy miracle!

When my great nephew needed a computer, I thought of my retired 2001 Sony Vaio laptop. It had issues, but if it could be restored for a reasonable fee, great! I got lucky. I found Computer Hospital in the yellow pages. They sent a polite, well-groomed, and punctual young man to pick up my laptop. The supervisor, Craig, phoned me a little later that day with an assessment. Craig clearly presented the options. He was ethical. He said if cleaning the corrupted hard drive and reloading the operational software failed to restore screen graphics, Office, and the cursor, most likley there was a hardware issue. He advised that if that were the case, he would not go further with repairs as the cost of repairs would be a lot. He offered that if cleaning and reloading didn't work, then there'd be no charge.
As it turned out, cleaning and reloading remedied all problems. I picked up the unit at their Katy Fwy location. On arrival, the nice young man, Cody, turned on my laptop and showed me that it worked. They had also loaded a good antiviral program and a link to their offices should my nephew have questions. The bill was 125.00 plus tax. Some readers may say that a new laptop can be purchased for $400.00. Maybe so, but for a great aunt with limited resources and my nephew with even less money, a $125.00 bill was much preferred. Now, my nephew has a spunky little Sony Vaio on which to do his schoolwork!
- Pros: Open long hours weekdays and Saturdays
- Cons: Hard to locate the Katy Fwy office

I?ve been a customer of The Computer Hospital for a little over 5 years now and no matter how many times I call or even when I call, they always have a technician available to assist me either over the phone/remotely or they send someone to me. What a great bunch of people!
I actually understood!

I have absolutely no computer knowledge. I called the computer hospital and was so happy that they not only assisted me right then and there, but they also made it easy for me to understand what they were doing. First time that has ever happened!
Fast Service/Great Price

When someone does a good job I like to tell them so and when they do a bad job I do the same. I spoke to the guys on the phone and was told the symptoms indicated a possible failing drive. Being the procratinator I am, I didn't have a backup. The first thing the guys did was to pull my drive and get a copy. Sure enough the drive was failing. Fortunately I was able to get my copy onto a new drive and the system was back up and running for the price of the drive and the copy about $150.00. And the same day at that.
Having read the earlier reviews, but hey Jtopa - who works for $15. But having been to Geek Squad wher I paid just for diagnostics. These guys are great and fast.

I called with a problem with my laptop and was pleasantly surprised that I wasn't told someone would have to call me back. The technician assisted me over the phone and then I received a call back a couple of days later making sure I had received good customer service. I am definitely a repeat customer and will also recommend them to family and friends.
horrible attitude. horrible prices. rude and expensive

i was missing a letter on my laptop so i asked if they could replace it and what the cost would be. the service guy that helped me hollered out to the business owner across the room "how much?" and i thought i heard the boss reply "$15". i said ok. after a couple of minutes he rung me up for $54 and i said excuse me, i thought he said $15 and the service guy rudely said "no, it's $50, i heard what he said". i asked if we could check with the boss when he gets off the phone and the service guy repeated "i heard what he said" in a short arrogant tone. i told him to take his letter back. he abruptly popped letter off my keyboard and subsequently tore off another small component of the keypad that was attached before without any apology or words whatsoever.
after the boss got off the phone i politely asked if he had said $15 or $50 and the owner said in a rude demeaning tone "$50" to which i replied "i gave you your letter back".
i told the person who had referred me about the event and he told me that they had always been expensive and rude to him in his previous visits, but that it was simply close and convenient for him.
well it's certainly not worth it to me.
