People PAY For This?

I had attended a party where the host had hired Chef 4 You to cater. I don't know what the company usually charges for catering, but whatever they do charge, it's too much. The dishes were unoriginal and tasted like they came from a box. Several of the dishes were pasta dishes, all tasting like they were made with canned and processed ingredients. I could have made better food at home! In fact, a large part of why I disliked the food so much is that all the dishes were ones I could have made at home and were very simple. I would think that if a catering company advertises formal catering for events and parties, they would offer something more original than stuff my grandmother used to make in a casserole dish. Maybe this company would be well suited for kids or those who prefer more simple fare, but if you're having a party or gathering that's even slightly formal, I do not recommend this company.

Why did I spend all these years cooking?

We had only three people for Thanksgiving this year so we decided to use Marcie instead of cooking. The food was outstanding! The turkey breast was moist and tender, the mashed potatoes were excellent and the spinach casserole was incredibly flavorful. All items had plenty of seasoning. I can't see a good reason to cook for a small gathering when the food quality is this good and the total prep time is 40 minutes for heating everything up. We will definitely use them again!
