Does Not Call to Follow Up on a Complaint
by jacos at Citysearch
I purchased "Face LiftI in a Jar" and liked it. I went again about a year later and purchased the same product after asking if the formula had been changed and was told "no". It had a different fragrance than the first jar. My skin is sensitive so I try to be careful since other products that I have liked have been changed and created a allergic reaction. This product made my face and eyes swell. I waited longer to return it than the time they required because the office is a long distance from my house. I left the product at the office and was told that Dana would call me. I did not hear from her after stopping by the office and three calls to try to reach her. Finally I was told by someone who works there that I would be sent a free sample and a coupon for a discount on a filler. I do not use fillers. In summary, I spent about $100 and ended up with a small sample of another product that they sell. They no longer sell the product that caused problems for me. I thought that Dana LeConey would have had the courtesy to at least call me since she is an owner. Therefore I do not believe that she values her clients and I have no confidence in their services or products.
- Cons: Lack of follow up on complaints
Don't know what they're doing

I recently moved and needed a new dermatologist so I went to see Dr. Leconey. His wife Dana administered and the RN Susan injected Restylane in my lips. I was swollen for 3 weeks and I now have a scar above my lip. I went back and talked to Dana and she basically told me it wasn't their fault. I was very upset that she would deny doing this to me. I got a 2nd opinion at my dermatologists office in Austin (who is wonderful) and was told it was from the Restylane being over injected too far into the skin and it should go away although it has been 2 years. Needless to say I don't recommend the Anti Aging Institute of Houston. They are very unprofessional, the office is unorganized, and they don't know what they are doing. I can't believe this Dr. is practicing.
- Pros: None
- Cons: Unprofessional, inexperienced, rude, and they lie
