Dr Dickey is a SAINT.

I had surgery ten years ago on my eardrum. There had been ear "specialists" that had looked at it in the past and admitted that they hadn't seen anything like it before. I had had several ear infections over the years, caused mainly by a hole in my eardrum from my Marine Corp days. As time progressed my hearing progressively got worse. Thats when, Thank God I found this heavenly man.

I learned quickly that I had put myself in the right hands and that there was no finer Doctor and more qualified than Dr. Dickey. After a series of tests he determined that surgery was inevitable and that he suspected a tumor of sorts was growing behind my eardrum. Surgery was scheduled, and as he had stated, a tumor was indeed growing. It was actually a large tumor so I was told, a two hour surgery turned into 5 hours later....

He mentioned to me after surgery that a follow up surgery in six months is recommended as it is common for them to try to grow back, but if they're caught in there early stages, they can be removed easily with no further growth. As The Doctor had suspected once again, this did indeed happen and the second surgery was a breeze. I feel as though I owe Dr Dickey big time, I found out later that these tumors if left can cause

major issues even death! The reason I am so Pro-Dr Dickey is because many Ear Doctors had looked at my ear in the past and just kept giving me anti-biotics, never once looking for a more permanent solution.

I have since taken my children to him, each time praying that he has not retired yet....

The only reason I am on this web site is because I picked up an ear infection in my other ear (swimmers ear)

and I was checking to see if Dr Dickey was still practicing. After you have had the best, its tough to allow a general practitioner to look at it even for something as common as Swimmers Ear.

If you are considering Dr Dickey or any of his staff to be your specialist in this area, I can tell you whole heartedly, they're the best.

Dr Roark was kind and considerate with me --even holding a 3 month old baby for most of our visits. Our appointments were on-time and painless.
