Love this store!
by klopsmu
The new location rocks! They have the best selection and a lot of it isnt as pricey as you would think being on Post Oak. They do though have the best premium and moderate denim selection in Houston!
- Pros: best selection
Best Customer Service
by mabousa
This has been my favourite maternity store! They could not be more helpful, never pushy and have great taste. They have even let me return a clothing article that i wore but found uncomfortable. they would not dream of having their customers be dissatisfied or upset. I highly recomend this store. Great sales too!
I can't survive without Pickles & Ice Cream
by kbellows
As a first time mom, I was not exactly prepared for ALL the changes during pregnancy. When I got really frustrated with dressing my pregnant body (around 5 months), I stumbled into this store and stayed for hours. Since then, I make the drive to the galleria area about once every two to three weeks. The staff is always friendly and was honest with me as to what worked and what didn't. The best part is that there are always great sales! I wish I had a store like this for my non-maternity days!
Friendliest Staff

I just wanted to say that I enjoyed my shopping experience at Pickles & Ice Cream and that the staff made shopping much easier than I expected. I will shop there again when I need more clothes. I found that they have the best selection of maternity clothes in the city and the prices were not nearly as high as I expected.
- Pros: Wide variety of clothes at great prices
- Cons: Closed on Sunday

In Short
With six locations throughout the South, this maternity shop boasts a devoted clientele of expectant mommies. The Galleria-area space is stocked with fashionable items like Michael Stars, Noppies maternity pants, Meet Me in Miami tops and Chiarakruza separates. Clothes change seasonally and shoppers are encouraged to try on foam bellies to plan ahead for the coming months. Salespeople are happy to answer any questions and to help first-time moms find clothes that are suitable for work and play.
Awesome clothes and salespeople
by ssimons
I thought shopping for maternity clothes would be easy but I did not find a single store in Houston that seemed to really understand my needs until Pickles & IceCream. The salespeople held my hand through it all and helped me build a wardrobe that would work for my law office and my jeans days (so many designer jeans to choose from, it was hard to stop with just 3 pairs). Now I am so excited about being well-dressed and wearing clothes that are made to support my changing figure. I will definitely be going back to Pickles & IceCream to see all the cute clothes that will be in for the Fall. I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for the right kind of help (friendly and knowledgeable) and the right selection for work and weekends!
- Pros: Salespeople that really help
- Cons: Go hungry because Eatzi's is right next door!
