Great underground house music on Sundays, Café Europe
by socialbutterfly101
Café Europe has changed alot. They are pushing to make the place more upscale, and have hired a new DJ to play on Sundays. This past Sunday, the atmosphere was amazing. White tablecloths, candle-lit tables, and deep/progressive underground house music... There are also drink specials on bellinis, mojitos, and beer. You can order the steak kabob platter; and their fresh fruit buffet is free. The bartenders and waitstaff are friendly and fast.
The dancefloor is tiny, but the patio has been expanded...On Sundays, the patio is where the action is, anyway. People drink and dance outside; or some just lounge and listen to the music. Place is dress to impress, although during transition evening hours you will catch the casual day crowd (coffee house by day, bar by night).
Diverse crowd: Eastern European, Spanish/ French/Italian, Middle Eastern, South American, and American customers. Diverse crowd, diverse music; Upscale crowd is growing.
I had to take my time out and say this- mainly because I noticed all of the effort the staff has been putting in.....I noticed that all of the negative comments about this place mentioned "Berto". He is the manager of Café Europe, so I assume the author has had problems with management. I have seen customers at many places retaliate because a waitress won't give out her phone number; or because the manager won't give out a free drink. This seems to be the likely case.
- Pros: Great Sunday patio party, nice hostesses and staff.
- Cons: Some food served on paper plates (?)
My faivorite

I have been in Cafe Europe for many times and I always have a great time. From the music to the service to the decor, this place is great. They served good coffees and excellent desert s all day, for the evenings they have a big bar. They are open every night until 2 a.m. which is great because you always can meet a friend there and have a nice time. My favorite night is a Tuesday night because of belly dancing performance.
Be carefull - you may pay theves their dope money !!!

I like to go there, but lately it is really bad. Just bunch of ilegal people works tere who can't even take the order right. Beside that they just trying to sell you stuff under the table so they can steel money from owners or they can get drunk on company ecpences, especially the tall russian blondie. Carefull and ask all the time for your bill before you just hand them money because you may be just giving theves somethinh what belong to owners.
- Pros: Music, DJ, Atmosphere,
- Cons: Servers, Practises of servers

Awesome music on Tue but tiny dance floor...
by bintaz
I go to cafe europe pretty often. The best nights are Tue... Habibi night...
They play arabic, latin, trance, your usual bump and grind... It varies pretty much...
Don't expect your usual crowd.... The crowd here varies in age and ethnicity....
You'll find a couple of seniors getting down here and there.... LoL... Saturday
nights are pretty good too... Just stop by and visit, you have nothing to lose...
No cover, plenty of parking, great music...
- Pros: Music, no cover, plenty parking
- Cons: Small dance floor....
nice multicultural joint!
by greenball141
its a cultural joint of cultures I am really not around much, the only reason im even around it more is cuz of this place. I use it mainly for a pre club place or a spot to just meet up friends during the week days. The food is good and drinks are good and everything is fairly priced. The place looks real nice and it is, the service is nice as well cuz they try to make all the customers happy. I enjoy it and it leaves a good impression on my friends I bring here.
On a second look, not bad...

My first review of this place was a little harsh, but maybe someone was listening. on saturday night, the music had changed to more than just Arabic songs. Originally every song would be Arabic except for one or two, but this time there were some russian, latin, or other languages that I wouldn't know. I also applaud them having a No Smoking sign on the door unlike some bars that still are not complying with the ordinance. This made it for a very pleasant evening without stinking of smoke.
This place isn't really a club so they actually have food and Lattes and such but overall, it's a great value - free parking, no cover, and drinks that are actually priced right. I think domestic beer cost me $3 each...I was paying $6 for it at a midtown club before. Of course this isn't midtown, but it's a cozy place to hang out at if you don't feel like driving to downtown or mid-town...and it sure beats the pants off suburban bars. Just remember, this is more of an international place so you'll meet alot of people from different places who may not look like you. that's a good thing but i mention it in case you're from the burbs and aren't used to seeing non-blonde haired blue eyed people.
- Pros: free to get in, free parking first come first serve
- Cons: The music still can improve but at least less arabic stuff
Multicultural club
by chinitafeliz
I went there two times and I really liked it. Music starts around 10pm and the dancing at 11pm. You'll see most people from the Middle East. Some of them are good dancers some just go there to chat and drink. Waitresses are from Kasakistan and they are nice. This place is limited to 54 people, so it has a small dance floor. The dj plays every type of music latin, arabic, tukish, etc. I will definitely come back to Cafe Europe. Hey, you have to dress up :) About security the police is always there. One thing I didn't like is the restrooms; they are too small.
- Pros: The music is good. Don't pay for parking or entrance.
- Cons: The restrooms are too small.
