Clint would approve of this laid-back pasta joint featuring Americanized Italian chow.

I've been to the Spaghetti Western a few times, but I'm not too terribly impressed. It's alright, I suppose. I do really like their Italian Nachos, but so far that's the only thing I've been super crazy about. Oh, the breadsticks are awesome, too. My best friend had the stuffed shells the other day and it was 3 shells with cheese stuffing only and some sauce and that was it...no salad or anything. I've had the southwestern lasagna (it's called something like that) and it's alright. Lots of chicken chunks in it and the salsa it's topped with is tasty. I wasn't impressed with the presentation. My piece of lasagna was completely falling apart and was pretty much a slop of ingredients covered with salsa. I also didn't feel very lasagna-ee about it. If I wanted a whole bunch of sour creamy chicken enchilada filling one day, that's exactly what I'd order, though. They do have a pretty solidly stocked juke box, though...I feel like I'm still listening to Classic Vinyl on my XM when I flip through the pages. I'll probably be back and try a few other things, but it's not amazing or anything.
- Pros: Bread is delicious, jukebox
- Cons: Service can be slow, food's alright
Nice decor, food so so

Ate there last night 3/3/09 and overall the food was slightly less than average. The breadsticks were way underbaked and soft, I like my breadsticks chewy, firm and a little crunchy. My veggie pasta was okay but chef forgot to add much seasoning. Being vegetarian I like my veggies tasty, not simply steamed. My friend had the salmon & angel hair pasta. The salmon was good but chef again forgot to add salt or other seasoning to the pasta. We ordered spinach on the side and it was very tasty so we knew the chef had access to salt and lemon and other spices. We took leftovers home and plan to doctor them up for another meal. The decor was nice but the floor looked dirty. I wouldn't want my children crawling on it. And the little waitstaff guy busily swept the floor while we were trying to eat, gross. Better to do that after closing. We may try the pizza next time to see if it warrants a third visit.
- Pros: Fast service
- Cons: Not enough seasoning in food

I did not like this and will not go back.

The only reasons I did not give this place 1 or 2 stars is because my brother liked his food and the other posters that say the service is good are right. I got the "Pasta Man's Specialty" which is listed under their Specialties. It has a crab cake, a grilled chicken breast and crawfish tails in a gralic sauce over orzo. I thought that sounded good. Save for the chicken breast, it wasn't. I'd like to know why they felt they could call it a crab cake at all being that as far as I could see, there wasn't a stitch of crab in it. The orzo was way over cooked. It was essentially mush, which ruined that particular portion of the dish.
It could be I caught them on a bad night but with the number of other restaurants to choose from, I'm not taking that chance.
Quirky fusion in ambience and food

I enjoy dining at Spaghetti Western. I highly recommend the specials for the day when making your dinner selection. The food is creative and blends Mexican and Italian flavors admirably. The combinations are downright unconventional, but sure do satisfy. You have to try the Italian nachos at least once, but bring friends to share the bounty because it's a heaping platter.
Good Food, Horrible Service
by jlong86
Good portions and great taste. Sat down at the bar for lunch with a group and had the worst service from the bartender throughout the entire meal. She rolled her eyes when we asked for bread before the meal and had a negative demeanor the whole time.
- Pros: Food
- Cons: Service
Nice Atmosphere

I've eaten here with friends a couple of times. The food is good but the service is shaky--we've had good service and bad service. The portions are huge, I will generally share of take home leftovers.
- Pros: adequate parking, cool atmosphere
- Cons: service isn't consistent
Awesome Food - Superb Value - great neighborhood vibe

We're regulars and every time we eat at Spaghetti Western everyone loves it! The food is consistently delicious (I love Shrimp Scampi w/Artichokes and tomatoes) and the shrimp are GIANT fat and juicy. How do they provide such good grub so cheap? The house salads are made with all green, yes i said all GREEN healthy lettuce and an addictive vinegrette dressing and feta cheese. We went again this past Saturday night about 8pm and the place was full but there always happens to be a table waiting for us! My date had the raviolli but I kept tasting bites because their tomato sauce is simply da Bomb. The wait staff is mature but in a hip way and always friendly and super efficient. Keep it up Spaghetti Western!
- Pros: The Food is GREAT and Cheap
Not up to the Hype
by kradjian
Found the reviews misleading. Service and vibe was good - food was not. People must be coming here for some other reason but it sure isn't for the culinary qualities.
- Pros: Service, cost
- Cons: Food
