great General Tso' Chicken

Love this place. Friendly people, good foods, and reasonable prices. General Tso's Chicken is awesome! My kids love the chicken and steak cubes. We also enjoy the crunchy roll- it is a little bit spicy!

It looks like a fast food restaurant. But, do not judge the book by its cover. HOT WOK is a very beautiful restaurant. We love it. Excellent chickent lettuce wrap. fresh and tasty summer rolls. Delicious General Tso Chicken. Mouth watering sizzling steak cube. AWSOME!!!!

first time and very impressed

After this first visit, we cannot wait to come back. Hot wok has so many good dishes. The staffs are very prompt and friendly. Their foods are tasty and fresh. I would love to bring my guests and my family there.

THIS FOOD IS AMAZING

It looks like a fast food restaurant, but it is anything but. The fresh produce at the Create your own wok bar is so fresh. Have had almost everything on the menu. My favs are General Tso's and Summer Shrimp. Have Fun.

I wish they would put one on Westheimer. I have eaten at hot wok since they opened. I was hooked from then on. I dragged everyone I knew there too. Have had many a business lunch there. My two year old loves the attention and yummy food. Attentive staff. Owner is humble and very customer oriented. Very fresh, Very hot great value. Miss going there since I moved. Consistent superb quality. Best bang for your buck. Very Authentic.

Good Food, Good Price

We went largely on the recommendations here and in the Chronicle and were not disappointed, food wise. My partner had the Vietnamese Cubed Chicken Flambe and I had the Scallops&Shrimp in Black Bean Sauce. Her chicken was delicious and perfectly prepared, though my scallops were a bit dry. Excellent flavor, though.

Service was very swift and prompt, though at times it felt as if we were being rushed out of the restaurant. If you can, try to sit as far from the kitchen as possible, as it is open to the dining area and can become quite noisy.

YUMMY CHINESE CHOW!!!

This place rocks! I have never cared much for Chinese food till I went to Hot Wok. The eggrolls are delicious and the creme puffs melt in your mouth. I am crazy addicted to the Sesame Chicken and the Mongolian Beef!
