An open kitchen churns out wood-fired pizzas and fresh-made pastas at this casual Sicilian-American chain.

In Short
Decorated with family photos of founders Damian Mandola and Johnny Carrabba, the open dining rooms pack groups of friends and extended families into four- and six-person tables and booths; smaller parties or couples can grab stools at the open kitchen's adjoining bar to watch chefs make dinner. The traditional southern Italian menu offers grill specialties like steak Marsala and fire-roasted chicken breast with sun-dried tomatoes; pasta dishes include fettuccine Alfredo and garlic-sauteed shrimp with linguine.

I've been going for 8 yrs. Never a bad meal. The prices are right. Managers and staff always helpful. Great wine dinners. Fun atmosphere.
- Pros: Food, service, staff
The Standard
by subdave
This restaurant is the standard for well run national chains. They serve only dinner so they can concentrate on this effort and not spread themselves too thin with service and food quality concerns. I love the ciappino and lentil soup -- I try to order these items at restaurants all over the country and C's stacks up very well against the competition. The service is always fast and professional as the waiters seem to have their s--- together! The manager is always present and seems to have a good handle on the environment. If I am in the mood for a good meal at a reasonable price, C's is the choice more often than not, even with the growing selection of restaurants in The Woodlands area.
- Pros: Consistent, Good Chow, Reasonable
- Cons: Crowded, Somewhat Noisy, Dark
