Worship rock legends while dining on familiar American favorites.

In Short
Walls covered with decades of Top-40 memorabilia, rock songs blaring in the background and an all-American menu typify this music-themed restaurant. The kitchen churns out group-friendly appetizers like nachos and Southern staples like barbecue ribs and chicken. Burgers are served with hefty sides of fries and the signature pulled-pork sandwich is topped with vinegar barbecue sauce. The gift shop sells branded items like T-shirts, shot glasses and hats.
3rd time will not be a charm!

First experience a few months ago was not good, so we gave it a 2nd chance tonight. Even worse! They weren't able to take a drink order from our party of 15 all at once. It took 50 MINUTES before food orders could be placed. By that time, I'd given up, because we had tickets to an event and couldn't wait. The waitstaff was rude. Not sure if the food is worthwhile, since only 2 of the group decided to order. Surely there are better places nearby than the Hard Rock Cafe in Bayou Place. Very disappointing.
It was really pretty bad all around.

Went there for lunch, place wasn't busy at all but it took 30 min to get a few appetizers.
Three of us all thought it's way over priced. I paid $9 for a few pieces of soggy bread with way too much garlic and sour tomatoes. Bruschetta ...... I don't THINK SO!
Chicken Tenders were crusted with something really hot and spicy and flat as pancakes. Order a side of fries? Well there were a few and I mean a few in a bowl.
The potato skins were OK.
Well I can tell you we won't be going back to this Hard Rock place.
Great ambience

Really cool place. Parking is a little tough to find on weekends. Food is good and ambiance is really fun. lot's of neat things to purchase(t-shirt's, hats, ect.). Very good palce to take kids.
- Pros: Good for kids
- Cons: downtown parking
Average food. Exciting atmosphere.

The location of Hard Rock is great, but the food is only average. The burgers are extremely greasy and overpriced.
Huge Salads and wonderful burgers. If you leave hungry it your fault.

Good food, prompt service and casual atmosphere is great for lunches or dining out in the evening. Interior decor is fitting.
Used to be a favorite

My mom and I used to go and I loved it. They always had a video playing that I absolutely loved. I adored the turkey burger. Oh my goodness the spring rolls were to die for. But i went recently and the menu seemed to change. They used to have a dessert menu that was awesome and it seemed that they took some of those things off.Where the Turkey Burger used to have black beans and corn it now has pico and avacado which i hate pico de gallo. We didnt have a really fun waiter either as usual. It was ok though. The sampler platter has grown though it only used to have potatoe skins spring rolls and tenders but now they have added wings and onion rings. the potatoe skins were kind of dried out but everything else was good. Oh and try the twisted macaroni.
- Pros: music, music, funky hair waiters
- Cons: change in menu
Very Disappointed

We arrived at Hard Rock Cafe, Houston at 5pm and were seated immediately. We were the first couple seated in our section, however 3 other tables were waited on first. (Strike 1) My wife requested Veggie Fajita's... after 30 minutes (and after everyone around us had their entrees) the manager came out to apologize that Veggie Fajita's were not available. The service was very poor and we were throughly disappointed with the whole experience. We won't be back.
- Pros: Ambience
- Cons: Horrible service, Slow wait staff, Menu knowledge
HR Houston is rockin'!

I was very pleased with my meal at Hard Rock Houston. The atmosphere was pleasant and lots of things to look at while your eating. The food was good. The gift shop could be bigger that's for sure (it is basically a little stand with a cashier). But all the memorphilla made it worth the while!
- Pros: atmosphere , location
- Cons: gift shop
Lunch at Hard Rock
by chlintexas
Had lunch at Hard Rock Cafe on a Monday afternoon. Slow Service with not much of a crowd. Food is good for the price, but had Ice Tea, which was a little high in price compare to other place. Good place to visit once ever 6 months.
- Pros: Great Location
