Good Stuff
by SteveRad
I usually enjoy my visits to Pappasito's. They have good fajitas and I really like their mixed grill (although for some reason you sometimes can't get it.) The place is sometimes quite crowded, so this is not the place for a quite dinner (but good for taking kids). The margaritas are good and I think my wife really likes the "swirl". Good for big groups since noise is not an issue and they have lots of room. Parking is usually not an issue (although with recent I-45 construction, access can be problematic for those coming from outside the area.
- Pros: food, space
- Cons: loud
best margaritas ever
by bordeux34
my family and i use to love this place for theyre famous fajitas but the las trips we made there the food was ok just not the usual. the fajitas were still very soft but the flavor was gone! i have no idea why. my husband still thinks it has the best enchiladas and so far i have to say he es right.
this place is also to crowded you have no privacy and i always feel rush beacuse people are in front of you waiting for a table. but when it comes to the margaritas is the only place in mind.
in conclusion being that houston has so many good restaurants we don't have to stand in line for this one. now we go to esteban's is more auttentic.
- Pros: great margaritas, plenty of parking.
- Cons: crowded, expensive.
Great food, if you can get it!!

On our last 3 visits to this Pappasito's we've had extremely poor service. We are total fans of the food, and find that 10 times out of 10 the food is usually excellent. However, lately the kitchen seems to be extremely slow!!! We waited over 1 hour for a Pappasito's Grill and Taco Al Carbon...nothing too difficult or time consuming about these two entrees, but we sat and waited as several parties were seated after we were and received their dinners before we did. We thought it was a fluke the first time, but it happened 2 more times, each time the server was very apologetic (not server's fault). I hope they get the kitchen moving again, this is our neighborhood Pappasito's and I would hate to have to drive across town to get my favorite mexican food!
- Pros: Great food and margarita's (grand gold)
- Cons: Slow kitchen / service

Best chips and salsa, good margaritas

this is a great place to eat with a large group or just a few. The cips and salsa is the best in town. the service is always good.
best mexican food
by latina79
A bit overpriced, I thought the first time we dined there, but considering the high quality food, huge portions and well trained staff, it's a great value. The only disadvantage is a long wait on Fri./Sat. evenings about 7 or 8 pm when it gets packed. (the concrete floors really reflect noise)
We've love Mexican food and are always looking for better restaurants but always return to this favorite in the Webster area.

The Scene
Strings of colored lights, decor from the Mexican revolution and Latin music quickly establish a vacation-like vibe as diners work their way to the bar or wait for a dinner table. The dining room bustles as families and groups come together for a celebratory meal. Servers hurry back and forth, bringing endless baskets of chips and stopping rather frequently to sing their version of the birthday song to yet another table. Service is a bit rote and impersonal.
The Food
A large menu features everyone's favorite traditional Tex-Mex meals. Start with a plate of nachos, topped with mounds of ground beef, beans and cheese. Platillos Combinados feature combinations of tacos, enchiladas, tostadas and tamales, each served with rice and beans. Beef or chicken fajita platters arrive sizzling hot, with fresh tortillas on the side to make your own tacos. Classic Tex-Mex desserts include sopapillas, flan, cajeta and tres leches cake.
WELL WORTH IT!

Pappasito's is a little costly, but well worth it! The food and service is always great! My family and I always enjoy spending a little extra to have a PERFECT meal!!
- Pros: GREAT FOOD, GREAT SERVICE, GREAT MARGARITAS
- Cons: , SOMETIMES A WAIT, DRINK WHILE YOU WAIT
Pricey but Great Food!
by cityworm
This restaurant rocks in terms of flavor! The food is definitely the draw to this crowded, flamboyant, Mexican hot spot. Although dinner and drinks for two can cost well over $50, the extravagant price is worth paying every once in a while for such great food! I've only been during dinnertime, and every time the wait has been long. So head to the bar, grab a drink, and wait for a delicious dinner!
- Pros: Great Food
- Cons: Expensive
