My husband and I went to this hotel, not to visit Moody Gardens, but just to have a weekend away. Moody Gardens Hotel seemed nice on their website and they had a room available last minute.

It was an average room, a bit too bright for a romantic weekend though. The real let down was after a long tiring day at the beach we decided to call it a day and go back to the hotel, curl up and watch a movie. All night and all morning their movie on demand system was "busy". Calling the front desk got us no assistance.

Also they used flat sheets for the bottom sheet, which is hard to sleep on. I didnt get much sleep because the bed caused me to be asthmatic when I was on it.

It really took away from our romance. I dont recommend it.
