Friendly staff, reasonable prices. I've gotten a couple of pedicures here so far - and for the price, I'm really happy. The staff is extremely friendly and the woman who did my pedicure was awesome.

I also got my hair cut by Courtney this time, and was very happy with the cut - she listened to what I was looking for, worked with me, and did a great job cutting and styling!

Painful!. I've been getting Brazilian waxes for a while now, but this was by far the worst waxing experience I've ever had. Nothing about waxing is comfortable, but it definitely should not make you cry! The lady was friendly, but extremely rough. The wax she used was incredibly hot, and I told her several times that it hurt. She had wax all over her gloves, so every time she pulled off a strip, when she pressed her hands on my skin, it was like being waxed again when let up. She said she was using the best waxing technique by putting wax in places that didnt have any hair so it would hurt less? It did not work. I usually get waxed at the Waxing Studio in Austin, but I am in town for the summer and wanted to look good for my vacation. I can't believe I paid $60 for this...she couldn't even finish I was in so much pain. I am swollen, bruised and still irritated...a reaction I have never had before from waxing. I definitely would NOT recommend this salon for waxing. I'm sure they do great hair, and maybe even eyebrows/face waxes, but do not let this woman "down there!"

everything was perfect. I live inside the Loop and at the last minute decided to treat myself to some serious pampering. I called a bunch of places in my area but none could do everything that I wanted, or could but at an outrageous cost. I finally stumbled across Salon Eben's website by accident, and their package prices had me floored. I realized afterwards that they were all the way out in Sugarland... but it didn't matter. I got a facial, body massage, haircut/style, manicure, spa pedicure- and everything and everyone was wonderful. A delicious pasta lunch was included as well as complimentary wine and tea. I also bought 2 Aveda products that they recommended. The total for everything with tip was I think around $270, maybe even less. I couldn't believe it! The owner was such a sweetheart and we became instant friends during the several hours I was there. I haven't had the chance to come back yet because they're so far away from me. But hopefully I'll be able to soon!

Small but nice. This is a small spa and salon, but they work the space well. Wonderful staff, and the manager is one of the most friendly people around. Over the last few years I've been here for my hair, spa pedicures, and facial treatments. The only reason I give 4 instead of 5 stars is because it can get a little loud in there at times, but I think that's from the smaller space and acoustics.

Great Service. I go to Aveda's Salon Eben nearly every Saturday. Heather Bunes straightens my hair with a ceramic hot iron. She also does my color, and my husband's color. What a great girl!! Barry does massages and she is awesome, too. My husband almost cried, she was so good. It is a beautiful, relaxing environment. While I am a regular consumer of salon services, my husband was a first-timer. He came with me while I was getting color, and next thing you know, he was doing it too! He even got his eyebrows done! Thank you, Salon Eben!!

Straighteners Don't Work here. They straightened my hair, the people were real nice but they don't know how to straighten real well...maybe more practice. They use CHI which is not a real japanese straightener. It was invented by an American adn does not work. I had to fix my straightener by Sensia Studio and Japanese Day Spa. Sensia was awesome. Melina did my hair at Sensia and she was amazing.....I totally recommend her!
