Great Salon Experience! (Hair Salon Experience). I moved to Sugar Land last summer and had put off trying to find a new hair salon because I was afraid I wouldn't find the perfest stylist! I decided upon Genesis Day Spa & Salon because of its great online ratings and location, which is so convenient for me to get to. I had decided at the last minute that I'd HAD IT with my hair and something needed to be done. I called that day to get pricing (very reasonable) and to schedule an appointment. To my surprise I was able to get in that same day and without a second thought I booked the appointment!

My hair stylist's name is Josie and I cannot say enough great things about her! She is kind, sweet, professional and not pushy, and best of all does a wonderful job taking care of my hair (which I am very attached to, by the way!) :) This has been a wonderful experience and I am now getting ready to go in next week for my third appointment with her! I have not experienced any of the other services this spa offers, only the hair salon, but I have heard very good things about Hong and the owner.

I have definitely found a place I will keep coming back to! Thank you so much Josie! ?

Hong Mona Riti Neena all ROCK. I am a 55 year old man and avid cyclist. I am comfortable with my masculinity. I do get my legs waxed and I can tell you for a fact that these Ladies are professionals I was made comfortable and the place was clean. I am a commissioning manager offshore so I am all about details. Genesis will get my bussiness from now on. I count myself blessed to know them. Oh by the way the price is quite reasonable. Threading by Mona. This woman transformed my eyebrows. I don't have to gel them in place of comb them anymore. My brows are incredible!

wow...i should have gone sooner!. after reading a few bad reviews about this place, i was reluctant, but desperate after having to walk out of another place because of bad service. am i glad i did...it was fantastic!! fortunately i was able to get a same day facial. the front desk staff was excellent, the environment was cozy and warm, and i can't say enough about Hong; she was a delight! the price is a little steep, and i usually only get facials every 6 months, or longer, but i loved this place so much, i'm going back for another facial treatment next month, and i can't wait!!

Luv!. I've been plenty of places to get my eyebrows threaded.. each time they have turned out terrible looking. I made an appointment with Sunny... Thank you sooooo much... Everytime I go I love them.

Excellant Spa in Sugar Land. My husband surprised me and my sister with a great spa treatment at Genesis! They are very friendly and where willing to work with our crazy schedule request as we wanted to come in and have several things done. Staff member on the phone made sure we got exactly what my sister and i where looking for! if you are looking for a good place to relax this is it!!!!!!

Skin A Glow. I had a baby 9 months ago, and with that beautiful baby came daily bad hormonal break-outs around my mouth and chin. I have been going to Sonnie for my eyebrows for 20 years!..and while there Anita suggested I schedule a "Light Therapy Facial" to combat the inflamation and roughness. (Mind you I have tried EVERYTHING) Well, as the 5 stars say, run don't walk. Three days later I will say my skin is 99% cleared!! and on top of that, my entire face glows! did I mention I have tried everything? Like movie star glow.

Her massage on your face during the facial alone was worth it (also at the current special price of $35 it is out of this world worth it, if just for the relaxation) She used Pevonia products which are organic and professional grade. They smell amazing. I purchased the toner, serum, and moisturizer. They are professional skin care prices, but they work flawlessly. I don't feel congested, greasy, or that dread of washing my face at the end of the day and seeing the red bumps. At 40 yrs old I have never had skin problems, even as a teen, so you can imagine how unhappy I have been not being able to get this under control. Anita gave my skin and confidence a huge boost. I am going to continue the treatments, again at $35, I would pay double for these results.

Great service!. I am new to this area and was introduced to this salon by a friend. I have received excellent service at every appointment. Sonnie did an outstanding job on my first ever eyebrow threading treatment and Kathy gives an Awesome manicure and pedicure. I will continue to expand on services here to see all they offer.

don't go there!!!!. Worst salon ever. Always have to wait, act like I'm annoying them when I ask a question and charge you for EVERYTHING. The last time I was there it took 2 hours for a mani pedi. Are you kidding me? I can get a quality mani pedi in the hood for $30 The ONLY reason I go there is because my father in law keeps getting me gift certificates, but I got my mother in law to come in on my side and they finally got me a gift certificate at a wonderful salon near my house. NO MORE GENESIS FOR ME! Good riddance. I hated this place. I think the 5 star review are written by employees or the owner. This place is awful.
