I was personally very unhappy with my experience with Arrow plumbing. I did not contract them, but tenants of mine did when I was out of town. They charge $99 just to come out, this is not taken off the bill, and after they look at the problem, then you find out how much they are going to charge. My tenants had a faucet replaced and the charge was $562 (total). I have personally replaced many kitchen faucets, and it usually takes around an hour and a faucet costs less than $100 for a medium value faucet, and $100-200 for an excellent faucet.

When I called and complained about the price, I was told that these were standard prices and that they put in a really, really good faucet that I am unable to go out and buy (that was his explanation).

According to my bill, this was the only work that they did. According to my tenants, there were two of them and they spent nearly 2 hours replacing the faucet. I have no clue what they did to spend that amount of time. I was never given any indication by my tenants or their office that they did anything more than replace the faucet.

Personally, I will never call them again and was quite unhappy that my tenants did.

I like these guys at Arrow. I've used Jarrell (now Hallmark) and the guys were pretty rough. I tried John More, and wasn't please with that whole situation - long very frustrating story. But Arrow was great, seems like a very professional but family-run place. Not some "call-center" where no-one understood what I was talking about and just wanted to schedule me. The Lady in the office talked me through some of the things that I might need to think about with getting a "tankless water heater" that I hadn't thought about before - good advice. The Plumber who came out also talked about some good points on tankless not being the best fit for our house (even thought they could have sold it to me fore more than a regular heater). In the end, I went with their recommendation for a hybrid water heater. I'll see how things are in 10 years. But I really liked the company and they people I talked with. I'll use them again.

Won't give rates, then drops "price bomb" on arrival. I called for a quote to clean out a drain. They would not give even an estimate, but would come out to give me one for the $79 service charge.

I told the person on the phone that another place had quoted a price over $300, and she said that sounded extreme. I agreed, so based on that, I asked them to come out.

They came so late that I could not afford to go another day to get someone else.

On arrival, they quoted $365 to do a basic job (to just "poke a hole in the clog".......Their words, not mine), $650 for a better job, or $950 to do a good job.

Now I understand why they won't quote their prices over the phone.

I'm also a bit suspicious of some of these reviews. 7 reviews in a week that all sound like they were written by a professional marketing person (or an employee).

I would not use them again. I have no problem with making a profit, but this was rediculous. Just be honest up front.

Excellent Service, On Time and Professional!!. Arrow Plumbing is very professional from the first phone call for service to the plumbers working in your home. The plumbers who show up at your home are dressed professionally, no tacky "butt cracks" to worry about! They are courteous and polite, explain everything about the service you are receiving from the minute they walk through the door (ON TIME) until the service is complete

We just installed a new tankless water heater within 24 hours after the old water heater "died". They faxed my quote to me at work and an authorization to pay via credit card the same morning that I called for service and my water heater was installed the next morning.

We have used Arrow Plumbing prior to the installation of the tankless water heater and have always been satisfied with the wonderful service. We will not hesiatate to call them again and will be happy to recommend Arrow Plumbing to our friends and neighbors.

Wonderful customer service. I had a problem with a drain/vent issue in a house and called to ask them to perform a service that I thought would help. Ann called one of their master plumbers who diagnosed the problem over the phone, told me he would be glad to come out to look, remove the toilet and mini-cam the line but that it would not fix the problem, and offered suggestions on what to do to alleviate the issue without major repairs. No charge. Try that with anybody else. The next time I need plumbing they will get the call and price will not be the consideration - You do get what you pay for!

Excellent Service. I called these guys on Friday and they were ready to show up late Monday or Tuesday morning. I mentioned I needed the work done by noon so I could get to work and they lady dispatcher made a couple of calls with the techs and worked around my schedule.

I received a call on Monday morning letting me know when the certified plumber would arrive and he was on time. I was already prepped before hand on the flat rate fee that gets charged on top of and regardless of work completed.

The individual that came out was very professional in appearance and actions. He was thorough in all explanations and gave multiple options in how to fix the problem. There was no pressure sales of "yes you could go with the minimum but you will just be calling me 90 days from now to install the maximum priced option".

The guy also shows up with a nice size truck that is basically a rolling inventory of parts. So no issue in identifying the problem and then re-scheduling for them to go get the parts and come back out to fix the problem.

My only con is the price, but not really a con, because I believe you get what you pay for. With the extra cost you get an experienced certified tech that is courteous, professional, and knows what he is doing.

And yes he did wear the booties that everyone else comments about...

Overall a good experience.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAA-ARROW Plumbing is the BEST!. WHAT EVER needs fixin' in your abode in the way of plumbing, bathroom or kitchen can be fixed promptly, perfectly, and as promised! Arrow has been my friendly plumber for many years, through many needs. Love the surgical booties they wear on their shoes and their clean uniforms: there is no mess when they leave either. Dread the blll, but one gets what they pay for, and then some!

Great Plumbers!!. Arrow Plumbing reacts very quickly and professionally. I have a couple of rentals and Arrow deals directly with my tenants in an extremely professional manner. Highly reccommend!

The Best Plumbing Company in Houston!. I am so glad that I use Arrow Plumbing. As a single female who owns a home and is responsible for the management of my boss's home I would not know who else to use other than Arrow Plumbing. All members of the company are the wonderful. I rely on them for honest, timely and top-notch technical service. I'm not just a "nameless" caller on the telephone. I have no hesitation in recommending anyone calling and requesting their assistance with any plumbing needs.

Best and most reliable plumber in town!. We have used other plumbers at differnet times on the past, but we have found that Arrow Plumbing is the way to go. They are committed to their customers, and the job is not finished until it is done correctly. Thanks Arrow Plumbing!
