This restaurant has "fair" barbque but their service is HORRIBLE! I cannot figure out how they stay in business the way they treat their customers. I live in Sealy and it would be nice to have a good barbque restaurant, but if you want to be respectfully treated and not wait an eternity for your food - inside or at the drive-through, DON'T GO HERE. TOO BAD!!!!!!!

WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! We ate here years ago and it was great. Took a trip to San Antonio and could not wait to eat here today 05-24-2008. What shock! Disposable everything plates cups utensils. Better food at a TRUCK STOP! Pre-Formed,Pre Shaped what they called Chicken Fried steak. Thin pre cooked some kind of meat that they just dropped in the oil for a couple of minutes. Instant mashed potatos, canned beans. NO TASTE NO FLAVOR. $23.00 for BBQ spud that the meat was dry, chicken fried steak and 2 teas. The tea was good!. Dont waste you time or money. Better food at Dairy Queen or any truck stop around! On the window it said Award Winning from food and wine but IF this is true its from many many years ago. I still cant believe what a disappointment this was. I cant recall the last time I was served on paper plates with plastic utensils INSIDE a restaurant. Its obvious eating there they are in trouble!

The Bar-B Que used to be outstanding at this restaurant, but lately it seems that the owners are only concerned about the bottom line and not the customer satisfaction. They recently have switched to Pepsi products and no longer carry Coke. Their infamous home style hand-cut fries have been replaced with some sub-standard crinkle cut mass produced french fry. They charge an extra $0.25 per order for lean cuts of meat...otherwise they just slice it as is and the customer gets to trim his own fat. They used to serve their plate lunches with their own homemade thick sliced bread...now it is cut very thin. I could understand all of this cost cutting if they were in a competitive market like Houston...but they are in a twenty-five year old building n Sealy, Texas, yet they they charge about the same price points as a Goode Company restaurant which serves far superior food, has much costlier overhead, doesn't scrimp on their servings and has impeccable service. Come on Mr. Hinze...get with it!
