This is real BBQ place where the meat has a real smoke flavor, its not a commercial Q place like so many people like. Its a very small place thats hidden on the very busy Mason Rd. They have some of the best sausage in Houston. The sausage is course for good texture. The brisket and ribs have a real smoke flavor. The brisket is a little too lean sometimes and that can make it a little dry sometimes. Especially if you get to go, which you might want to because they only have a couple of tables inside. The sides here are great. This place has the best potato salad!! Its white potato salad not mustard and its very chuncky. The pinto beans are moist and very tasty. I always want more sides when I am done, which is rare for me. When you go make sure you have cash, they don't take any plastic.

best to go bbq!

This place is as good as it smells. The excellent things: brisket, sliced beef sandwich, sausage, baked potato, beans, and cole slaw. The chopped beef is good too just a little too mushy for my taste. Overall this is a great place to get barbecue TO GO. The restaurant is a small hole in the wall but it taste amazing!!

MMMMMMM good!

Your mouth begins to water as you step in the door. This barbeque is unbelievable. Only cons would be size (2 tables max?) and the potato salad is chunky not creamy how I prefer. GREAT STUFF!
