Tips for Fuzzy's Pizza & Italian Cafe

September 10, 2012

My wife was looking forward to ordering a dessert from here with the pizza for the kids so I went in to get a to-go menu to bring to her as she is handicapped and wanted to wait in the car but was informed by the manager that they were out of to-go menus. I asked if I could borrow a regular menu to take out to my car real quick and bring it right back with my order and she refused. The regular menus are not that fancy either. So the manager was incompetent to let the to-go menus run out and couldn't be bothered to even print off more and then refused to make her mistake right by letting a customer borrow one for a couple of minutes and then on top of it basically called me a thief. I will never eat at a Fuzzy's Pizza again. We went up the street to Westgreen just north of I-10 and found another pizza place where the service was VERY friendly and the pizza was outstanding. It was more expensive, but as they say you get what you pay for, if you're lucky!

Just like the Fuzzy's I remember.. Alrighty, for a while fuzzys wasn't at it's best. Things weren't like they were before and everything. But now, fuzzy's is like it was before. Everything is clean, the pizza is good. I can see the wine and the deserts fuzzys has to offer. Believe me, when you go you won't be disappointed. The specials are gone. Which are fine by me. To tell you the truth, if you want a good pizza go to fuzzys. Don't go and start bragging and complaining about the prices. I agree it is expensive, but it is worth every single penny in my wallet.

Best in Katy is an undersale!!!. Before I knew about Fuzzy's, I ate all the other pizzas, Papa Johns, dominos, Pizza Hut, and don't get me wrong I loved them all, but since the first time i tried Fuzzy's many years ago I have not stopped ordering from them and eating at their restaurant. From my experiences, only a competitor of this establishment could have something bad to say about this amazing restaurant . Their Pizza's are delicious and worth the few extra bucks and the staff is polite and helpful. I have and will recommend this place to everyone I know and meet.

The Pizza Place from paradise.. The pizza's are impeccable. I am speechless. The pizza's were made by ARTISANS. Words can't describe the pizza's. I was amazed by the customer service and the cleanliness of the place. I have been to a lot of restaurants. And believe me when I say alot I mean a lot. This resturant amused me by its cleanliness. I go every other day to this resturant and I have never had an incident about cleanliness or the quality of the pizza. Do you all realize that if this resturant had bad pizza's or wasn't clean, it wouldn't have served Katy for over 15 years?!

Even though the pizza's are a tad pricey, the pizza is worth it.

Not What I Expected!. Fuzzy's disappointed me after reading all of the great reviews, maybe I expected too much. The restaurant wasn't clean, they had food and dirty napkins on the floor around the buffet area and no one seemed to care...which makes you wonder what goes on in the areas you can't see if they feel this is acceptable. Also, one of the heating areas on the buffet wasn't being used and rather than cover up the spot, they left it open so you could see the dirty/moldy water underneath the pans. I will say that the pizza tastes good but judging by the lack of cleanliness at this place, who knows whats in it. I know times are hard for a lot of places and they probably don't have the money to completely renovate the place (which it could use); however, they do have the means to keep it clean so people feel comfortable eating there. Every employee who can't pick up dirty napkins and food off the floor should be fired!

Now I know why it was "Voted Best Pizza" in Katy!!!!. Quality-wise...this is by far the BEST TASTING PIZZA!!!! From the cheese...right down to the high quality meats, their pizza's are hands down...the BEST! Let me give you one BIG TIP when ordering one. They do seem to sometimes under cook them. The SECRET to having an outstanding pizza here, is to just ask them to cook it well done. The cheese turns a bit brown and it TOTALLY changes the flavor up 10 notches. I order it extra well done...and it's perfect!! every time!!, I'm having a Fuzzy's Flashback just writing about it! :). And having one delivered tonight! Plus, they also have the BEST Greek salads, and on Wednesdays they have buy one all you can eat, get one free! Find a Friend and have a feast at Fuzzy's!!!!!!!!!

Friends don't let friends.... ...eat here! Mike W1975 is dead-on. Thick, doughy crust (under cooked) some sparse, cold Canadian bacon, a few lonely pieces of Italian sausage and mushrooms that looked as if they were 4 weeks old...what a stinker!

The high-school girl at the register got every (and I mean EVERY) element of our order wrong! The two manager-types watching her seemed to be amused. We were not.

One time is the charm!

Where is the MEAT???. If you like pizza thick dough and Cheese, Fuzzys is the place for you. However, If you want have some meat to eat on your pizza (ie: pepperoni, hamburger, sausage, etc.) you may want to go to any pizza Cafe. The salad was sparse and not fresh. The Spaghetti was awful. As for the service, the manager and owner need to be inside helping improve the image and food instead of being outside smoking and BSing. The person at the cash register was more worried about text messaging from her pink cell phone rather than keeping the area clean and tidy. Fuzzys in Katy is a very poor example of a Pizza and Italian Cafe.

The Best. The best pizza in Houston. It's worth the extra buck. It's not that expensive- you get a lot of food and it's high quality. If you can't afford to eat quality food out make it yourself at home. It seems these days people are just looking for heaping piles of expired trans fat and imitation cheese on a plate for less than a tip.

Best Pizza in Katy. This is the best pizza in Houston and Katy! They also make great, hearty salads!

The crust, cheese, sauce and toppings always taste fresh so I'm never disappointed.

I would give it 5 stars, but they do charge a slightly higher price for their pizzas. It's far more than what I see from other places.

Look for specials, though, and you won't be that disappointed---they have one for each day of the week!
