“Food is good and kids have a play area to have fun whil.”

“Nice burger joint”
“In a few words, the waitresses were nice and kind, but the place and food are really bad.”
“the fried pickes and the queso are two of my favorites and the staff is relatively friendly.”
A good place to unwind.
From the first glance, this restaurant is something of a mystery, if not for the big sign shining bright, one has to question if it is still in business. But to the contrary, they are working in full swing, especially when crawfish season hits. From the look on their menu, choices are plentiful, ranging from southern classics, to cajun, to burgers. Their patio, if you can get a seat, is always full, especially when there is a music act playing.
The downside on my visit was that the service was lacking, no wait staff for about 10 minutes after being shown a seat. Also, if I had a choice between sitting inside or outside, I would opt for the patio, as it looks much nicer than inside.
All in all, I would come back for a second visit, and hopefully the service will be better.
Fantastic establishment. I have been a customer of "Borders" for a couple years now and I take everyone I know there! I like that it is individually owned and most of the sauces, dips, and dressings are made from scratch. The service is always good; it is casual and laid back which I like.
Nice burger joint. Its your neighborhood burger joint. the burgers are good the beer is cold, what more could you ask for? the fried pickes and the queso are two of my favorites and the staff is relatively friendly. Its a great place for lunch or dinner with the kids. They have live music on certain nights on the patio.
Not clean, bad food.
We just ordered burgers. The bread was really bad, it looks like they freeze it and then defrost it before serving. The onion rings were soggy. The place looks dirty, the tables, the floor, etc. Everything smells to crawfish. It is obvious that people touches tables and chair with the hands soaked in crawfish oil and the staff do not clean after.
In a few words, the waitresses were nice and kind, but the place and food are really bad.
Well kept secret. I go here a lot. We eat lunch and dinner here frequently. Have not had anything bad here yet. They have the best tortilla chips and salsa, bar none! Margaritas are outstanding. They have live music on the patio on the weekend evenings. This place has a nice neighborhood feel. They have a sandbox for kids. The owner is always present and always interested in making sure everything is right. You cannot come in or leave without all employees you pass saying hello/thanks or goodbye!
Great Food!!. I have tried a few of their dishes and have to say that each was wonderful. My favorite by far is a burger called "The Bob". It is smothered with chili con queso and pico de gilo with a few jalepenos tossed in for good measure. Add a side of their light and crispy onion rings and you have a meal!
