Hickory Pit is a real bare bones restaurant, which usually has the best BarBQ. So I was extras disappointed when I actually tasted my food. They have the weakest BBQ sauce I have ever tasted. It tasted half Kraft BBQ - half water. The links were poor and the brisket was a little dry. I can't really think of any saving grace, ... OH, the service was good.

Got to try the Western. It's one of the best food combinations you can get. Mix the beef w/ the sausage...chopped up and spread over a warm bun. Then covered w/ their homemade suace, add beans, cheese, and chives...plus more sause, and dang! It is some good ish.
