My favorite place ever!. I created a Citysearch account only to rave about Charlie's. I live out of state and constantly think about the day I will return to Houston and be able to go to Charlie's.

Their fried okra is phenomenal. It is clearly fresh okra (green on the inside) and perfectly flavored.

If you're looking for some Southern, homemade mac and cheese, Charlie's will not let you down. I cannot have enough of the stuff!

For my meat I get a chopped beef sandwich. The beef is tender and full of flavor.

I do not like spicy BBQ sauce and the sauce and Charlie's has a sweetness to it. It is perfect for me.

I am counting down the days until my next trip.

Don't pass up Charlie's!

Awesome Food/Awesome Service. I love barbeque....so when i got a chance to eat here i was satisfied..the food was great. There was a mistake on food i ordered and food i received, I called the location and was completely taken care of no questions asked!!! i highly recommend this place!!

10 people give 5 stars? Y'all don't know good brisket!!!. 10 people give 5 stars? Y'all don't know good brisket!!! The service was good. The hot links were pretty good. The brisket was tender .... BUT NO FLAVOR!!! Everyone giving 5 stars must smother their brisket with BBQ sauce. I got my BBQ sauce on the side to get a good taste of the meat... and was very dissappointed after reading the stellar reviews. I moved here from Waco in July, and am still looking for good BBQ in Houston because this is not the place. Expensive! Three of us had the two meat plates and a small soda each ... for $38??!!! Pass this one up because there are BBQ places all over. I am still looking.

Mouth watering BBQ. i HAD TO STOP IN CHILDREN'S COLLECTIONS AT 5219 BELLAIRE BLVD. TO GO SEE MY DEAR FRIEND AND SHOP. WELL SHE ASKED IF I HAD LUNCH AND I SAID NO. SHE KNEW I LOVED BBQ SO SHE BROUGHT ME HERE AND OH MY GOD. I THOUGHT I SHOULD ASK FOR A JOB HERE AS A TASTER

BUT I ALREADY HAVE A WEIGHT PROBLEM. I JUST LOVE THIS PLACE, YOU THINK YOU FOUND YOUR FAVORITE BBQ PLACE. WELL NOT TIL YOU COME HERE. I KNOW NOW I HAVE HAD THE BEST!!!!

Outstanding stuffed baked potatoes. Charlie's gets the biggest potatoes I've seen & then stuffs then with fresh cut brisket & all the goodies. It is a full meal by itself.

Yumm-y. I love the food. This is the only barbecue place that I find everything I need to have a great meal. I love the brisket, potatoes, and veggies or mac n cheese. I'm a simple girl but this is my favorite barbecue joint. It feels family owned and I feel like family when I go. I feel very welcomed.

Excellent Menu. The food is great here. The ribs brisket with just the right amount of sauce were excellent. I have had alot of barbeque, but this is one of the best.

best burgers and pepper poppers in the W. Charlies was my burger joint for lunch most days.

i could get in and out fast and eat a very good meal. for not a bad price.

loved it and miss it still now that i am stuck up in Oklahoma
