“Fair selection, great customer service”
“the staff is rude and don't know about anything.”
“At Bridal Depot I almost had to BEG for help, had to navigate the huge store with no dirction, and had 5 dresses in my arms before a woman came and took them to the dressing room for me.”
What a nightmare!!!!!. I'm getting married in one week (8/3/2007). I ordered my bridesmaid dresses from bridal depot they were from designer jordan. One of my bridesmaids was a size 10 she got a size 20!! The man who i had been working through quit and so we had no one to vouch for us. after a long conversation with the employees of bridal depot it was understood that the dress would be altered and takin care of by bridal depot. The alteration lady was very helpful and took good care of us. Until i recieved a phone call today a week from the wedding that they werent going to pay for their mistake. The MANAGER replied with they reviewed the charts again and it was my mistake and i would have to take the dress else where and settle with them in court. So asked for their corporate phone # and he said he was the only one i could speak with. WOW!!Heres what the chart read 35 bust 40 waist!! which was 30. A proffesional would know right away this was a mistake. And proffesional they are not. If you're looking for a nightmare this is your place.
Not Recommended - BRIDAL DEPOT.
Never buy a wedding dress from Bridal Depot - they will take your down payment and your dress will not arrive- they will continue to promise you a date but the dress never overrides - they have a sample dress in the store but they will not discount the dress due to the bride being inconvenience nor do they want to give you your money back - NEVER ORDER FROM FROM THEY YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED -
I ORDER DRESS 2/03 AND DRESS HAVE NOT ARRIVED WEDDING IS 8/25 - I'M TRULY UPSET AND THE OWNER DOES NOT CARE NOT CARE - BAD SERVICE
An admirably large inventory of dresses gives brides-to-be great variety and bargains..
The Scene
Looking for a wedding gown? The Bridal Depot has an entire floor of them at reasonable prices--frocks for the bride, bridesmaids and mother of the bride, along with shoes to match. Styles originate from about 20 designers, giving the store one of Houston's most extensive inventories under one roof. Too large to be a boutique and too small to be a chain, the store offers great deals, especially if you buy right off the rack.
The Goods
Energetic young salespeople are eager to help and able to establish rapport with the brides. This family-owned business offers good personal service and adequate room. There are eight dressing rooms, and if you still need space there are dressing rooms in the alteration shop downstairs. Men won't find tuxes here, but they can check out the Tuxedo Gallery on the first floor of the mall.
Fair selection, great customer service. Bridal Depot was the LAST place I looked at wedding gowns. I ended up purchasing the very first dress I tried on, but I was thrilled with the care I got at Bridal Depot. I highly recommend it to a first-time dress shopper who needs some feedback. Fortunata was fabulous. She welcomed me almost right away, showed me where the clearance racks were and let me just browse. She noticed the trends I liked, offered valuable commentary and has a great philosophy about finding The Dress. She really knows how to work with brides! I was almost hoping to find my gown there!
User review by aep1216. I was highly impressed with Bridal Depot. I was immediately helped by Fortu, who was great. She even pointed me out to the designer gowns that were discontinued that were for sale. I eneded up finding my wedding dress at half the cost. She was so helpful and brought out numerous veils to try on, even though I told her I wouldn't be purchasing a veil because my grandmother was making one. I ended up buying the dress that day and am very pleased.
Great experience with fortunata. I went to the bridal mall on Saturday Aug 20,2005.The place was crowded with people. It took a while for someone to come help us and all the room to try on dreeses were full, so we looked around. When the lady named Fortunata help us she was very helpfull. She clipped the dresses because they were all to big for me.In the end I was in look with two dresses a Jamasine dress ($1200) and Impressional bridal ($659)she didnt prussure me to get the more expensive dress. She took me if I like them both the same to get the least expensive one.I got my veil ($220),tiara($130),dress($659)and petitcoat($59)=just under $1100 with tax
Not a bridal experience. At Bridal Depot I almost had to BEG for help, had to navigate the huge store with no dirction, and had 5 dresses in my arms before a woman came and took them to the dressing room for me. She disappeared every time I went into the room to try on a dress, and wouldn't come back for about 5 minutes. She didn't bring me veils or tiaras. When I asked if they had any circle-cut veils, she told me no, although I looked for myself later and found two. The prices were higher than many stores in Houston and the customer service was AWFUL, but there is a very large section of discounted off-the-rack dresses if you're looking for a bargain.
