“good place”
Stoped by Drivers to get an inspection
sticker.
Big deal going on. Get a sticker and 8 or so oil
changes for $80. What a fool I was for doing that.
Trouble started on the next oil change. Those experts
comes out with a list of things that need to be done.
Like coolant cleansing, injector cleasing, new plug
wires, fuel additives and on and on up to $1300 plus.
I ask why I need all that? Is it beacuse I have 200,00 miles on it. The answer was yes. I had a new radiator, new plug wires and everything else done, I DIDN'T
NEED ANYTHING.
Sorry jerks. I drive 5 miles and engine over heats and
air condition doesn't work. I add a gallion water, add a can of freon and it haes't needed ether after 4 months.
You think thats bad :well they put in a cheap oil filter and
caused the engine sound like a desel until it warms up.
The lifters will sound like that unless y have filter with check valve. Solve problem by going dealer to get the right filter or let dealer change your oil. I drove 20 miles and changed oil again. Don't trust these jerks.
Driver s Auto Repair is a big SCAM, They used old motor oil, Refurbished oil for customer. I bought oil change 5 pack, for $99.75 my second time visit for oil change, after done I check my engine oil and the color still black, I don t think they put new oil in, they just add in more. The new oil should be light yellow NOT dark brow or black. everyone stay away from this auto repair SCAM (DRIVER S) cheap price but bad service so don t wast your money cause it will hurt your car.
worst place please people dont go. this place its the worst shop I ever been. came in for coolant fluid was leaking inside my truck they say it was the radiator core inside the veicle that they have to remove the dash board 2 hours larer they call me that the evaporator core was bad that they have to replaced they charce $300 dollars more from the original repair .2 months later the air stop coming out now that i bring my truck for the warranty they say its an other piece that is foulty that is not their's foult that my truck is a piece of junk after all the repairs they been making .The manager treat you like you are an IGNORANT like you dont know annyting plus he start to fight whit you so please DONT GO THERE ITS EXPENSIVE AND THEY GOIN TO BREAK YOUR CAR
DO NOT GO!!!. This place deserve no Stars! Came in for an oil change and asked them to ck the steering wheel clicking noise. They changed the oil and diagnosed the tire rod was making the clicking noise and they applied grease to it and said to come back if the noise is still there. 2 hrs later we noticed there was oil leakage in the driveway, so took it back to the shop and they ck the car and said it was the engine mount that had broken that's where the oil/fluid is coming from . The leakage wasn't there before the oil change so I suspiciously thought it was Odd. They told us it was going to cost $500+ to fix it (the front engine mount). We took it to dealer and the dealer solved the problem. The dealer changed out the CV axle that was causing the clicking in the steering noise. The fluid that was leaking was from the oil change that spilled. The dealer cleaned it up and said the car is good to go! No more clicking when steering. Lesson learn-Don't Ever Go to Driver's...They Do Not know what the he** they're talking about! Dishonest!!! Karma is going bite them in the a**! Thank you Goodson Honda for your job well Done!!!!
idiots!. Whatever you do don't let these incompetent morons work on your vehicle. I took a perfectly good running car to get the horn fixed and have it inspected. BIG MISTAKE! While I was gone they somehow fried some ground pins in my engine computer (PCM) and then called me and said that it had some trouble codes and that the check engine light was on. I went over there to find that it now had trouble codes for the EGR valve and the IAT sensor..which both turned out to be false codes. On top of that it disabled the gas gauge (fried ground pin for fuel level sender in PCM) and also would not run the emissions monitors to show a "ready "status for all of the different monitors and thus could not be inspected with everything now showing a "not ready" status in the PCM. It also disabled a perfectly functional A/C system. I believe some imbecile over there had my battery disconnected and then connected it with the key in the 'on' position which fried the PCM and they just pretended like it never happened and made out like I brought it in that way...pffft. I had to limp to another shop and have a new engine computer flashed and everything then worked just like it did before they let some moron fry my PCM. These wanna-be mechanics unfortunately cost me lots of money to have my car repaired. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place and take your car somewhere else. They WILL rip you off and ruin your vehicle and they couldn't care less. The saddest thing about all of this is that I was depending on this car to get my now deceased father to his cancer treatments and ended up having to find another way to get him there because I wasn't able to fix the car until after he had passed. Sometimes I seriously wonder how these low-life scumbags sleep at night.
They honored the warranty but.... got some work done 1 1/2 years ago for an oil leak. car is now leaking oil. brought it in...they said the leak was a new problem and not a part of anything they replaced 1 1/2 years ago. so they charged me $250 to repair it. 5 days after that $250 repair car is leaking oil again. Comes to find out that YES it was something they supposedly fixed 1 1/2 years ago! SO THEY FIXED SOMETHING THAT DIDN'T NEED FIXING AND CHARGED ME $250 FOR IT. but they did honor the warranty and fixed it for no charge. But I feel that they were guessing what the REAL problem was the whole time. Finding an honest mechanic is NOT easy.
These people are thieves. They think everyone is an idot and the manager should work at Burger King. Everything they want to fix is $1000 plus dollars. Millstead bid a job $600 cheaper. They will try to get you to fix everything on your car even if it don't need fix. STAY CLEAR unless you got a grand to blow.
Worst Experience ever!!!.
Worst experience ever, these guys are CROOKED!!!
I was stalled out on the hardy toll road and Drivers was the closest repair shop around. my timing belt broke and i was informed that after replacing it I would have two options; to have my Cylinder head rebuilt, or to replace the entire engine, because the valves werent firing propoerly. total charge would have been around $2500.
I brought it in to a shop by my house Bosone automotive and they informed me that there was nothing at all wrong with my head or valves. the problem was that my timing was incorrectly replaced. he also said who ever did the work was either trying to screw me over, or was alternatively a complete moron. so i wasted $465.00 on the timing belt service and almost wasted an additional $2000.00 on un-needed repairs.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY WITH THIS ESTABLISHMENT. If they are willing to screw over a military veteran they will screw you over as well.
Service you can Trust!.
The staff at Drivers Auto Repair in my own opinion went above and beyond my expectations of a repair shop.
Went in to have my brakes fixed due to them making a screeching noise they showed me what caused the screeching and why it did that and that was reassuring to see a repair shop do that for me in the past I never have recieved the service from repair shops in the past.
Great Service. Brought my car in due to a strange sound, they diagnosed the problem gave me the estimate and I had them do the repairs. The sound is gone and the car runs great.
