Finally found a good salon!. I have had my hair cut and colored here a few times and have always had a great experience. I am new to The Woodlands and had to go thru a few bad salons before I found Dionysus. Lizanne(colorist) is great!

It was a joke. I took my girls here for my daughters' hair and make up for her wedding. We made reservations weeks in advance for 4 on a Saturday morning. The girls had their hair and make up "done" and they could have done and did do better themselves. I had to ask one daughter when they were going to do her makeup it was finished. The next daughter had a girl who was okay but her hair was a mess. The bride looked okay but this was not the person that she had had her preview style done by. Apparently the girl she had worked with quit 2 days before. Then they did my makeup and when she finished I thought this girl has never done make up before. She put orange lipstick with an outline that looked like a clowns makeup and nearly black brows. I was mortified. Needless to say we all came home and removed and redid our makeup and hair. Thanks for a very expensive lesson. Just do your own and you will save several hundred dollars.

Dionysus Spa will exceed your expectations EVERY time!. Dionysus Spa is fabulous and has a variety of exhilarating services to offer for all budget types. Stephanie is a magnificent massage therapist and esthetician. She’s a diligent listener, is well versed in a variety of services, and really takes the time to understand her client’s needs/requests.

I have extremely sensitive skin, so I tend to walk away with inflammation and road rash looking marks on my face after having my eyebrows waxed. Stephanie listened to my concern the first time and has modified the service to fit my needs by applying a non-oily oil on my skin prior to using a low temperature sensitive skin wax. I receive compliments on my brows regularly and I’m always glad to refer my friends and family to Stephanie knowing they will be well cared for.

Stephanie has also helped me avoid further medical treatment for an injury on the right side of my lower back. I have walked away from massages in the past feeling more injured and in a lot of pain because the massage therapist did not listen to the information I provided to them up front regarding past injuries and/or current concerns. However, I have always walked away from Stephanie’s massages feeling well and ready to conquer the world. I continue to try different types of massages and listen to Stephanie’s recommendations, as my upcoming massage will include reflexology.

My dad raised three girls and always enjoyed being pampered with us. He enjoys receiving the Caribbean Therapy hand and food treatment for his birthday, Father’s Day, Christmas and whatever other occasion he can get in on. The services offered by Dionysus are for everyone. I highly recommend Dionysus Spa and am confident that they will exceed your expectations every time just as they do for my family and me.

I would not give these people money for moral reasons. I am going to be as P.C. as possible. If you have a soul or consider yourself a descent human being, do not give this salon your time, business or money. They will not respect you as a client. Most of the technicians are great, but the business end is horrible. It will only lead to regret and tears.

This place is a con. My husband bought me a $250 gift certificate to this place for my birthday. I went there to get a pedicure which stated that it cost $45. However, when I got there I was told that if I wanted my nails polished I would have to pay an EXTRA $10!! First, it is ridiculous to advertise a pedicure that doesn't include your nails polished. Isn't that the purpose of a pedicure? If they had just been honest upfront and said $55 I would have been fine with the price.

Then the pedicure - while the person that did my pedicure was very nice and knowledgeable the seat was excruciatingly uncomfortable. They do not have chairs or recliners where they do the pedicure but actually a bench seat that is attached to the wall. You basically have to sit at a 90 degree angle the entire time. (The base of the bench seat is also rather small so your rear end hangs off if you aren't sitting up – and I am by no mean a big person.) By the time I left I felt that I needed to use the remaining gift certificate to get all the knots out of my back!! Now I'm stuck with $190 gift certificate and I'm terrified to get a facial or a haircut after reading all of the other posted comments. I obviously won't go get another pedicure.

RUINED My Hair!!!!. I first went here to have some low lights added into my dark blonde hair to turn it more of a caramel light brown. I left with MAROON hair.

I returned (don't ask me why) after a couple of months because I didn't want to further damage my hair to begin having my maroon hair lifted to a dark blonde with gradual highlights. They color technician proceeded to BLEACH my entire head of hair, process color it YELLOW blonde, and then ADD HIGHLIGHTS-all the while assuring me that "their all natural products" would not damage my hair. My elbow length long, thick, healthy, shiny hair was coming out in handfuls as they were combing through it damp. The stylist was forced to cut about 6 inches off my hair because it was breaking off on its own. I was charged $500 to have my hair ruined and left with yellow big bird hair. About 2 months after that I was forced to cut my hair to CHIN LENGTH because I had nothing but yellow stings hanging down my back (at another salon where the stylists new that the only way to save my ravaged hair was to cut it as short as possible and start over)

Run away from this place.... Do NOT, repeat, do NOT go to this salon. The woman who does waxing is the only one who is courteous and professional. The stylists are all complete shite. Had to wonder if I was experiencing some type of discrimination, to be honest, because I hadn't been disrespected like that ever at a salon (and I'm from NYC so that's saying a lot). I had a man, whose name escapes me, blowout my hair. A simple blowdry. And I told him I wanted volume, yet he seemed to take that as "I want you to leave my hair damp." It's like- hello- hair stylists generally know how to blowdry a woman's hair so it's voluminous without sacrificing the dryness. Ugh, morons.
