In Short
This upscale resort hotel north of Houston offers almost 500 deluxe guest rooms and suites. The decor is soothing, with earth tones and light-colored wood. Rooms are available with separate living and sleeping areas, full dining rooms and kitchens and views that range from the swimming pools to the fairways. Guests can tee off on a championship golf course, play a match on the tennis courts or unwind in the full-service spa. There are miles of hiking and biking trails and the numerous swimming pools include a waterfall. Complete meeting and conference facilities are available and the hotel is extremely popular with groups.

We stayed here for one night after a wedding instead of driving home so late. This was the worst use of $200 I've ever spent. We should have just reserved a driver to take us to & fro. Horrible signage (not lit at night) and the view in our room was PATHETIC! Opened the curtains in the morning to find a nice dirt berm with weeds growing over it. But at least they put out two Wal-Mart lawn chairs for us to enjoy it... The bed was HARD, pillows deflated, bathroom was dingy with a $5 shower head and the person at the front desk when we checked out was completely unprofessional. He didn't ask how our stay was, just said, "You're all done" when we checked out. I had to then bring up all of these bad points to which he didn't apologize. No, he just chastised us for not bringing it to their attention at midnight after several hours of drinking & dancing. Yeah, the first thing I wanted to do then was to move all of our stuff to another room. Complete waste of money. Unless you're a golf jockey and could care less about a good night's sleep, don't stay here!

We stayed there for the Snapon Convention and I thought it was very nice. Yes the water pressure was not at all what it should have been and there were some other small things that could have been better. But all in all it was a very wonderful place to stay. The staff was very nice, The shuttle drivers were a little fast on thier golf carts, thought I was going to get throw out once or twice. The food was very well prepared, the scenery was breathtaking. And the bartenders could make some mean drinks give Carlos a raise. I would stay again!!!!

I can't speak much of the amenities or services they supposedly provide, as I didn't use any of them. However, this "resort" leaves much to be desired. I stayed here recently while attending a concert, and while the room was decent, I found the bathroom unacceptable. Dust covered the baseboards, the tub didn't drain properly, and the water pressure was nonexistent. They offer a complimentary shuttle to and from The Pavilion, which is nice for concert-goers, but I wouldn't stay here again if in town for anything else.
