service-yes, food-no

Even though this is a chain, I thought maybe the staff at this fairly new restaurant would be trying harder so as to get well established. The waitstaff was trying harder, but the chef wasn't quite there. The cheeseburger was good, but the ribs were dry, tough, and tasteless. $30 for lunch for two (no dessert, appetizer, or coffee), was a little high for this mediocrity. On the pro side, there was no wait....hmmm, was that a hint?

we were at #578 Chili's and took 20 minutes to be seated and no customers . then we were seated and they brought drinks and took 45 minutes to come get order and we were the only 2 in the smoking area and only 4 other people in the non somoking area . finally lady at the bar brought food over and it was cold and french fries had been re fried and were old and we got one glass of ice tea and no one ever came back and we had to hunt to pay the bill to get out and my husband saw a bunch of waiters in the back laughing and having a good time not doing there job. Very unhappy time there too very bad time there will not go back and we go that way a lot. Hope to hear from you r.com Mrs. Sherry
