Worst restaurant ever!!!!. I ate at the La Maria in Spring, TX on 3/5/11. This was the by far the WORST restaurant i have ever eaten at, and the management is horrible as well. First of all two of the waiters kept starting at me and my family at our table and smiling while doing so, makes it very uncomfortable to eat. We told our waiter and he said they are just talking about "football" when there was a basketball game on the men kept staring. Then the worst part of all i ordered an order of 3 tacos with ground beef. I was so hungry that i noticed after i was it the middle of eating my 3rd taco that the meat was not cooked all the way. it was half pink and half semi cooked, i thought it tasted weird but kept eating. After i noticed they had served me raw ground beef! i asked to speak with the manager. He took my plate and still made me pay for the meal and drinks! No apology or discount. The La Maria served me raw ground beef and didn't care that they messed up. BEWARE THIS COULD HAPPEN TO YOU AS WELL. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT TO ANYONE. I became very sick with food poisoning after this. also to top the whole experience off while i was there, there was a wall that came down on a persons table. Horrible horrible restaurant. This place needs to be shut down!!

Lard on the roof of my mouth...yuck!!. We've been going to La Maria's for more than 10 years, the food has usually been good and hot, the chips fresh (not in pcs! <as w/the recent visits) and the service has usually been average or a little better than average. Our past visits have not left us with the feeling that La Maria's is the best by any means....it's for sure not the best around, but has in the past been a decent place to go for the value VS food quality...however, that is no longer the case!! (we've NOW given them several chances--for which they'll not receive another!! -even if it were FREE!!) I have been HORRIBLY disappointed in the food, service and most importantly the value!! When you take a bite of food and all you can taste/feel is the lard on the roof of your mouth>>>>?? I DON'T THINK SO!! & to top that off, over $9 for 1 (SINGLE) tostada!!! $85 for 2 meals, 1 app (guac salad) and 2 margaritas + 1 order of quesadillas to go. YA freaking crazy! STAY AWAY...FAR AWAY, I could've prepared this meal for around $10 (+$20 for about 12 margaritas) and it would have been 10 times the meal (FAVOR/QUALITY) ---NO SELF RESPECTING MEXICAN WOULD EAT HERE!! I WILL NOT BE CAUGHT DEAD HERE EVER,EVER AGAIN....oooh! and to top it off. They overcharged us on the Taxes, the IRS will hear about THIS very soon and they will be audited and probably out of business before you know it!! I hate hurting a business during THESE hard times, but these companies CANNOT continue to rip consumers off!!!!!!

Go somewhere else. This is the first/only time I am eating here. I took my kids for lunch- insides needs to be re-done, the wait staff needs better training (you dont leave dirty dishes on the table) and the prices are too high for the quality of food. I wont be going back
