Chicken Tortilla Soup. It has been awhile since I ate there, but they had the best Chicken Tortilla Soup that I ever ate. I would love to eat there again, and if the good Lord is willing, maybe I will. I am now a 72 year old retiree, so I am not sure that I can, but I can always hope and pray. Thank you Whistle Stop for delightful experiences.

Great Food For Lunch. I have eaten at the Whilstle Stop numerous times over the past few years and it is always consistently delicious. I have always been greeted with a smile and seated promptly. My favorite things on the menu are the chicken salad sandwich and the chicken tortilla soup. Although I have tried many things at the restaurant, I can't stop ordering my favorite over and over again. I highly recommend everything on the menu and it is not just for women! This is a perfect spot for a couple to enjoy a delicious lunch while out on a shopping trip. Although all the desserts are absolutely delicious, my very favorite thing is the bread pudding. It is made from scratch and is the best! I always make sure that there is room for this dessert. It wouldn't be a visit to the Whistle Stop without some of this delicious dessert!

I agree with review by kkthomas. This is best place for ladies to have a great lunch in Tomball. It's typical tea room style, and even tho the menu doesn't offer 1,000 selections, what is on the menu is all VERY GOOD. Desserts are especially wonderful. They keep filling your ice tea glass with their wonderful flavored teas, and the chicken tortilla soup is GREAT. Everything is made fresh to order, and sandwiches come on their luscious homemade breads. Lunches are always crowded, so come early. If you don't, you can still browse the nearby antiques/collectibles shops while someone in your party waits for a table. Not a good place if you have more than 8 unless you phone ahead.

DELIGHTFUL!. This establishment is nestled in the antique shopping district of Tomball, TX! The family-owned cafe/restaurant is full of smiling hometown faces ready to serve and ensure their customers' satisfaction. Start with the passion fruit iced tea and take a look at the menu...it features homemade quiches, sandwiches, salads, and AMAZING soups (the tortilla soup is the best around!) Make sure you save room for dessert though! Featured are an array of fresh cakes, pies, and cobblers baked fresh daily! The bread pudding is to die for!!!
