Terribly Awesome. So, I ventured away from the Texas Crawfish Festival after an afternoon of debauchery and rabble rousing and stumbled upon this little joint in an attempt to find my hotel. I was pleased to see some great old school country music, and figured I'd go ahead and hang out for a bit.

Shortly after, the owner accosted me and insisted that I leave the bar since I had been at the crawfish festival. I was confused... I explained to the owner that I was not doing any more rabble rousing for the day and that his music was refreshing. I then started to name drop all my country friends in the area, hoping that him knowing that my friends had played in his bar would somehow ease the tension and he'd let me hang out.

This was ineffective.

He bought me a beer, called me a cab, and sent me on my way. The cab wanted $13 to drive about a quarter mile over on Louetta... I paid him $10. He was satisfied.

It was an overall good experience and I'll probably be back next time I'm wandering home in a drunken haze from the crawfish festival... maybe even before that.

I'm no rabble rouser.

Great Burgers. Great burgers and very inexpensive. Ordered 2 large burgers (mushroom and cheese), an order of onion rings and an order of fries for $11.00. Drinks are also inexpensive. You go out back to order the food and you can either eat outside or they will bring it to the bar. Took me a little while to find the place but it was well worth the search. Luckily this is on my way home and may soon become way to convenient.

Best Burger in Texas!!!. If you're looking for one of the best burgers EVER then you have to go to Track Shack! But if you're not in the mood for a burger their chicken fried steak or chicken basket is awesome. Stop by for their steak night or Friday for ribs. Don't worry about bringing a ton of money either because the food and drinks are very inexpensive. The interior is decorated with a true to Texas ice house feel, including carpet covered logs for bar stools, neons lining the walls and a nice covered patio if you feel like sitting outside. Please don't order inside, not that they will mind, but the kitchen is out behind the bar. This is one of my favorite places to eat or just have a beer...lucky for me I live only a couple of miles away.

I would love to keep this gem all to myself, but I can't do that with Track Shack...it just wouldn't be fair.

Original Texas Icehouse. Cheap, cheap draft beer, good and cold served out of chilled pint glasses. Kitchen now open

everyday except Sunday (On Sundays, good pot-luck lunch provided by bar for customer appreciation day).

Thursdays -Best Chicken Fried Steak anywhere and really cheap, too! Fridays- Fantastic Ribs.

Great Burgers everyday. Bikers and after work blue collar and professionals meet together to

talk and enjoy cold brew at the right prices. Nothing fancy here- Just real folks enjoying real life, Texas-Style.

Kitchen closed on Sunday and Monday. Best burger anywhere.....$4.00! 2/3 lb burger fixed just for you. I don't order fries. No room for them. The loaded jalapeno cheese burger is Texas Heaven. Friday order the ribs...really great.

Buxnmex. Great talent on Karoke Friday night. Barbequed ribs are excellent on Friday. Great for over 30 age group. There is pool, card table, and patio.
