Comfortable food, relaxed atmosphere. After a morning of shopping, we decided to try Wunsche. The wait was 30 minutes apx. Fortunately, we were seated in the back of the restaurant as it's very noisy in the restaurant. Menu was hearty American, no real salads. The portions were large, service very good. You can buy beer bread to go, which was delicious. Prices are a little high. The bathroom situation needs attention. The bathroom is very small, it was dirty, littered with paper towels. If you have large crowds, give someone the job of cleaning the restrooms.

AWESOME HomeStyle Meals!!!!!. This place is amazing! It is the oldest building in Old Town Spring. I was a yearlong customer and fan of this restaurant until last year when I became an employee. I found out just how clean this place was, and I also got to experience and taste every item on the menu (which were all DELICIOUS!). SO! if you want authentic country cookin, THE GREATEST BREAD ON EARTH!!!(their beer bread, the most addictively delicious stuff ever!!!) come to WUNSCHE BROS.!!!!!!! my name is stephen, but the best server is definately Valentin. so ASK FOR VALENTIN!!! he will greet you with smiles and charm! tell him that curly haired stephen sent you!!! you will NOT be dissapointed!

Comfort Food in A Comfortable Place. Take a step back in time. This Old Town Spring mainstay has been serving up a mean chicken fried steak and burger and fries for as long as anyone can remember. The food is good and the service is excellent. On weekends live music adds to the convivial atmosphere. The whole family will find this dining experience comfortable.

Cheeseburgers and the combo onion rings and fries. This Saloon is the anchor of Old Town Spring, Texas. The restaurant has been slinging hash for about a hundred years. During that time, Wunsche Brothers has learned exactly what their customers want, good, old fashioned, courtry burgers and deep fried food. I recommend the cheeseburger with a side combo order of onion rings and fries. Outstanding. It will reach your table hot! The burger is generious and you select your own condiments. The onion rings are old fashioned and hand made in kitchen. The fries are thick and meaty and not greasy. But, of course the main thing is the cheeseburger. It's really beefy and you can taste the cheese. They are hand made and come wrapped so that you don't slosh down the front of your shirt. So, come on down. Order the cheeseburger and the combo fries and onion rings and cold Corona.

A tradition of mouthwatering burgers and family fun in Old Town Spring.. In Short
Housed in the oldest building in Spring, this old-timey country cafe features fortifying favorites from yesteryear. From the sausage-sauerkraut balls and fried zucchini to the chicken fingers, grilled catfish and German sausage sandwich, the Wunsche Bros. menu serves as a culinary history of this former railroad town. Though the half-pound Wunsche burgers are plenty filling, diners savor such desserts as peanut butter-chocolate cake, buttermilk-pecan pie and the famous chocolate-whiskey cake.
