My fave is the schnitzel bussum (sp??), red cabbage, and their potatoes. We drive 45 minutes one way to get here but so worth it. Must have it with a Warsteiner in a cold mug. To die for. Best German food ever! We've even taken a friend who was born in Germany and he said the food was very authentic. Not in love with the desserts we've had there, but you cannot go wrong with any of the meals on the menu. I however hate the decor. If the food wasn't so amazing, the decor would turn me right around and out the door. The food is really that good. The service is really good, to average, to poor, depending on how busy they are and who is working. I wish they were closer, probably good they are not so I can watch the calories, lol!

Houstons best kept secret for german food.
This is by far the biiigggest most authentic german Restaurant,BAR and a heavenly nice Biergarten.
You can spend hours in this place there is so much to see and the establishment is much larger than it appears from the outside.The restaurant is very cozy and almost over decorated,nice!
The food is with no doubt authentic,authentic and authentic,thats all i have to say.The service is very friendly and they know every thing about the food, wine and the imported beers.

From the bar you can go on to the wooden deck and from there down the stairs in to the very lush landscaped Biergarten.
I enjoyed many visits at this place and with me having lived in Germany for thirty yeahrs this is defently my first and only choice for me to cure my "HEIMWEH".
