“The best Chinese restaurant in Kingwood.”
“Hin's has terrible customer service.”
“Hin's Garden is the best value for the money.”
That was awful. I do not know who write those good reviews for them. My first and last time. I should have known better: only 2 or 3 tables occupied between 6:30-6:45 on Saturday night? I ordered Bo Bo (various appetizers) platter for takeout. Everything tasted like it was made ahead of time and re-heated: pork ribs impossible to bite off, to say nothing to chew, straight to trash can, beef sticks resembled shoe soles, egg rolls had no taste at all and crab rangoon instead of being thin and crispy with piping hot crab/cream cheese filling were thick and dry. Never again. I am going back to the Vietnamese V Bistro at I-59/1960. It is worth some extra drive time.
shockingly poor customer service. Hin's has terrible customer service. I have always gone their out of convenience, but I will make the longer drive to a venue who appreciates their customers. They are willing to lose a regular customer over $0.20. If you are looking for good Chinese in Kingwood, go to Oriental Gardens.
