“They don't have the best decorations or buffet set up but the fla.”
“I've lived in Kingwood for 17 years and have been going there for that many years, and I love the food.”
“When i called to complain the rude women hung up on me.”
Good. The pork fried rice is awesome, very easy to eat and superb in taste. Will be coming back.
How difficult is Chinese food to make? Really?.
I ordered carry out on two different occasions, and it was horrible. The rice is flavorless and chewy. FRIED RICE!? How difficult is it to get fried rice right? If you cant make fried rice, then I'm sorry, but you should not call yourself a chinese restaurant.
Cold, bland, chewy, expensive..
great chinese restaurant!. Excellent restaurant. Fu lee has some of the best Chinese food I've ever had, before i tried this restaurant i never really liked Chinese food. I tried it about 5 yrs ago and have been coming back for more great food and service. My brother's favorite entree is fried dumplings and mine are the cheese puffs. They have great service and fast delivery drivers when you don't feel like leaving your house. Ms. lee always makes great suggestions and always remembers her customers and what they like. Very relaxed and quiet environment for a great dining experience.
Great selection... relaxed setting.. I visit Fu Lee's at least twice a month, sometimes with my family or sometimes just by myself on lunch break. They have a large buffet selection and courteous staff... But the menu is really where it's at. Although there are quite a few things on the buffet some of my favorite chinese classics like General Tao's and Mu Shu Pork can only be found on the menu, and always come out fast and hot. I am thoroughly suprised that this 15 year old, locally owned Kingwood establishment is not more well known among the community. The proprietor Mrs. Lee is almost always there and has an uncanny knack for remembering her customers and what they like, which is a friendly addition to the experience... If you have lived in Kingwood for a while and never been to the slightly hidden Fu Lee's off 59 behind Los Cuco's do yourself a favor and check it out!
Best Chinese Buffet in Houston. I'm surprised to read the negative reviews about this restaurant. I've lived in Kingwood for 17 years and have been going there for that many years, and I love the food. I am Asian, eat out very often, am very picky about restaurants and have sampled Chinese food in numerous countries. I think Fu Lee has the best Chinese buffet around. The food is fresh and tasty and very authentic. My parents, who live in Orange County, California, where there is a large Asian population and one of the best Asian foods, gave it high marks too, and I always take them there when they visit. The service has always been very friendly and courteous.
I would never eat her again!!!! The rice was miserable, it was like chewing trash!!! the carrots were undercooked and the rice was overcooked! When i called to complain the rude women hung up on me.... I have never been treated so rude!!! The wonton soup was hot, which was good but it tasted horrible!! I eat at Chinese places all the time and never had such bad food and horrible service..
