Not worth the drive. This place is sandwiched in an old ghetto strip mall. Interior needs updating. The place looked ragged out. A little on the noisy side, too. Food was OK, nothing you couldn't get at one of the chain Italian joints. Service was pretty good. Overall I wasn't impressed. Save the trip and some $$$, go to Macaroni Grill or Carrabas instead.

Humble/Kingwood favorite for date night Italian on the Northeast side of town.. In Short
Beyond the strip mall frontage, the intimate dining room is a blend of personalized service and casual elegance. Owner Tony Raffa oversees tables of regulars partaking of daily seafood specials and refined Italian classics. Starters include grilled brie or mussels fra diavolo while Southwestern rigatoni offers varied flavors like roast corn and cilantro. Succulent veal, a peppered filet and crab-topped snapper round out the menu. Lunch provides hearty salads, lighter entrees and low carb options. Full bar.

Consistanly great food. This place has been one of our favoriate restaurants for years. Wonderful service, consistantly great food, and great wine list. Great place for an special lunch or if you want to have an impressive business meal, this is the place. They do an amazing set up for catering. You must try their Southwest Rigitoni with chicken, berry and gorgonzola salad and finish off with their bread budding. The best!

The Least Romantic Restaurant in Houston. Having seen in CitySearch that this restaurant was rated the #1 Most Romantic Restaurant in Houston I made reservations for my husband's birthday. The first thing the woman told me was they were voted ... Well, the place is 35 miles out of Houston - in Humble - NOT Houston. The neighborhood is a dump. Then we walk in and it is the least romantic - bright lights - no booths (hard old chairs). Loud talking - with old acoustic tiles that only amplified noise. All large tables with "businessmen" or groups of 2 couples - no romantic anything. No music. Glass lid over tablecloth like a cheap luncheonette worried about their laundry bill. Worn out carpet. Such a huge disappointment. Dinner didn't even come with bread - offered to sell us garlic bread. Salad was old brown with overripe roma tomatoes. We couldn't leave fast enough - and then had to drive 30 minutes back to Houston. BOY did someone stuff that ballot box - Citysearch should be embarrassed.

If you look at the reviews it is obvious they are written by owners - no one writes like these read - with the owner's name.

A Good Choice. A great choice for any occasion. This restaurant offers wonderful food - excellent select specials and a warm friendly atmosphere. The owner is on-site and circulating to insure that guests enjoy the experience. We have frequented Amedeo's for 8 years and it has never disappointed.

Viva Italiano!. Excellent restaurant for meeting singles. Plus, the food and atmosphere are bellissimo! Service is prompt and courteous, the prices are reasonable. Try the grilled onions with calamari: at $6.95, a little pricey, but worth it!
