An idyllic, blue-collar watering hole..

Pictures of classic rock icons, John Wayne, and a huge Texas flag adorn the walls and set the tone at the Cactus Moon Blues Cafe, working-class Humble's premier live-music joint. A myriad of wires and cords left exposed in the rafters, dangling from ceiling to sound-booth, reveals the level of sophistication honored at the Moon. The menu, however, features crawfish sausage, oyster po' boys, fried gator, and chicken-fried steak.

Yeahhh!!!!. The Cactus Moon is a great place to hear live music, meet with friends, eat, drink, dance, sing, etc. You just can't find a more fun and laid back atmosphere than "The Moon".

Catch the Beat!. Out of town club with a downtown feel! Live music venues in a club that is not overcrowded. Great service, food and atmosphere. You can't go wrong at the Cactus Moon Blues Cafe! You can dance the night away or just sit - listen- and tap your toes to the beat! Whatever it is that makes your evening extraordinary you can find at the Moon!

"to The Moon, driver". The Moon is the best club for anyone who loves live blues. It offers not only local houston bands, but also bands from surrounding cities as well as intercontenintal communities too. The vast knowledge and history of blues music is seen on every available wall space. For a recound of blues history just ask the owner Thomas or any one of the patrons.You never know who may walk through the doors just to hang-out and party, from Tony Vega, Mark May, The Blues Hound, from KPFT or the president of Houston blues society herself. Anytime of the day or night enjoy the soulful, get down sound, make new friends and dance, dance, dance this is the place. I'll be seeing you at The Moon. Penny

moonbluesworthy. You heard of the saying once in a blue moon? Well, this club rates 24 to 27 times in a month. Quite alot of blues music to go around with the venue of quality to share. Atmosphere is great and plenty of room to move around. Management/staff are outgoing to make your visit a remembrance and wanting to come back for more. Like Habanero, try their wings. Outrageous!!!!!!
