WAS THE BEST NOW ITS LIKE THE REST. MYSELF AND MY WIFE VISITED LUTHERS ABOUT ONE YEAR AGO AND IMMEDIATELY NOTICED THE DIFFERENCE,ABRUPT SERVERS WHO WANTED TO ARGUE, TERRIBLE BBQ AND SAUCE GONE WAS THE FULL SERVICE SIDE BAR. SWORE I WOULD NOT GO BACK BUT THEN I NOTICED THE NAME CHANGE AND THAT ANSWERED IT ALL. THOUGHT I WOULD GIVE IT ONE FINAL CHANCE AND NOT TO MY SURPRISE THIS IS ABAD IMMITATION OF A ONCE GREAT HOUSTON BBQ JOINT

Too Much For Too Average. Luther's Barbeque is not that great to charge that much. The Food was O.K., especially if you're hungry and don't care where you eat, but you have to be willing to spend a lot money for a meal.

WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!. I've been going to Luther's for year and can't believe what's happen to a great Houston BBQ establishment. The BBQ sauce is now a bad rip-off of Pappa's BBQ and the self serve bar has been stripped down to a potato fixin's bar... like previously mentioned... IT SUCKS!! The beans and potato salad have changed for the worse too.

Luther's Demise. My wife and I have been loyal (over 20 years) customers of this establishment and had our last meal at that location Sunday 06/12/2005. It seems like the store has done all things possible to cut costs and quality while raising prices. All the side order items, (beans, coleslaw, potato salad, fruit salad, etc.) which were self serve, are now behind the counter. The new BBQ sauce is dreadful, the beans were undercooked as well as poorly flavored. All in all, it is sad to see a wonderful eating establishment ruined in under three weeks (what are they thinking) All the positive reviews were correct in their evaluations (last year) but no longer reflect the current situation.

It's changed!!!. My husband and I have been going to Luther's for years. This past weekend we went there for lunch and it was terrible. Everything has changed. They used to have the best onion rings, now they are terrible. The barbeque taste's different and the fries are bad. We won't be going back! Hopefully they will change it back.

The "new" Luther's Sucks!!. This was my favortie bbq place for over 20 years and now it sucks! It seems the owner has sold the restaurant to someone else and the food is not the same and niether is the price. Prices have gone up and the food has gone down. The sauce is not the same and is awful and the food doesn't seem to be slow smoked anymore and the side bar is gone! For all those who have come to love this place I am sorry, but it is over!! I hate to see this place die, but with these changes it surely will!! I am so sad!! Awful new food, I don't recommend this new Luther's to anyone!! :(

Luther's. Excellent barbeque. Ribs, brisket, pork were all done to perfection. Liked the side orders. They were on a buffet. All except the fries. Excellent and quick service. Recommended to everyone I know.

Not Bad Q. Stopped here (got lost on the way to Hobby) and had a fine combo.. Good variety, and lots of food at a reasonable price.
